air canada star aliance old scheme A340-300 1.600
Are the 1:600 models all Schabak? The 737 is going to be tiny on that scale, perhaps an inch at most?
I really like the sky in your first shot, very nice! 🙂
Hi again,
Not sure about what British Airways used to do with regards to the Las Vegas route. They now operate codeshare flights with America West from Phoenix and San Francisco to Las Vegas.
Surprised they don’t currently have a direct service there from Heathrow.
The flight to Las Vegas is from London Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic using 747-400s and operating as VS43.
There is at least two flights a week, but all the dates on the screenshot below are just confusing me..
The following are flights between LGW and LAS with Virgin.
All very nice. I love the Australian 767-300 colour scheme.
The light is brilliant on that Asiana 747-400! 😀
Great photographs!
I’ve just seen them LBARULES and would love to bid on a few, but my Herpa 777-200 of American was only £7.50 and this guy is starting at sky-high prices, so I’ll wait.
If any of you are members, look out for a guy called giovolvo, he always has brilliant stuff with great savings.

Hey t5 did you do anything for your 3,000 th post???
Nothing major, no. I did put a little bit of text on the end of my 3000th post but that was about it!
😀
I did email Farnborough quite some months ago to ask what the lineup would be. They asked for my address so they could send me the catalogue.
A few days later, I received a four page leaflet which explained nothing. If the 777-300ER is there, I’ll be there, too! 🙂

Who is it that makes the Star Alliance A340? Mine was a Schabak 1:600 model and got it for 99p, quality is not great when compared to Gemini as I saw for the first time today!
Finally, the Herpa Wings 1:500 Airbus A300-600ST “Beluga” (no reg) and the Herpa Wings 1:400 Boeing 737-300 (G-OBWZ)..
My two favourites – Herpa Wings 1:500 American Airlines 777-200 & (no reg) Gemini Jets 1:400 Air Jamaica A340-300 (6Y-JMM)..
Got 3 pics to show you all. These all arrived today! Was really surprised with the British World 737-400. It arrived with the wheels broken off (snapped) and the guy let me send it back and replaced it within 48 hours!
First shot is just the four of them. Sorry for the quality, I didn’t use the flash, just relied on the bedside lamp.
Britannia,
What is that screenshot taken from?
There is a “Buy it Now” option for this camera on ebay for £219.99 plus Postage Packing. The only downside is that the postage is £35.. seems a lot.
The product is brand new however.
