    I’m not using Broadband I regret announce, but I cope without it.

    I think the only advantage to me using it would speed up the process of uploading webpages onto the internet. Otherwise, you can use it for downloading music (which is illegal and I’m sure none of use do it).

    I’m happy with 56k – ebay runs fine, MSN runs fine and the forum runs fine! 🙂

    I was then determined to go for the British Caledonian DC-10 as well. But after seeing my precariously low bank balance, I had to reconsider. It was a toss-up between that and an Air Jamaica A340-300. It was a tough decision, but I opted for the JM 343. I paid £17.50 for it, still £6.50 cheaper than what they want at Air Trans (EMA)…

    EAL_KING – You’ve got an account, why don’t you just bid for yourself. Looks like you’re a bit stuck with you’re rather expensive easyJet model as well now. What were you thinking by bidding £10.50 for it?

    Anyway, NEW MODELS TONIGHT..

    Been going crazy on ebay again today. I’ve told myself (or at least tried to) that I must stay off for a while because I’m spending so much on there.

    I had a bit of stiff competition trying to get a 1:600 Schabak 747-200 in Boeing house colours. Eventually get it for the whopping sum of £2.50. I don’t think I’ll bother with their stuff anymore. I got the Star Alliance A340 for less than £1 the other day and the detail is a bit weak. Although the A340 was brand new, it even comes complete with two eyelashes moulded on, one on each wing!! 😀

    Anyway, got myself one the Airbus A300 “Supertransporters” (Beluga) made by Herpa on a 1:500 scale. Should be an average size since the real thing is so huge anyway. I paid £7.51 for it so was pleased with that one. The one below is just a random shot from the net, as mine is yet to be delivered!

    When I was up in Edinburgh I saw buses advertising this new airline flyglobespan.com and I discovered they are going to serve Canada (Toronto I think ??). Is this going to be a 737?

    I know very little about the airline, but it seems quite a promising project.

    It would seem that at least one 737-900 comes into London LHR each day. Looking back over the past few days:

    13th January

    KL1027/1028 from AMS/to AMS – PH-BXP

    12th January

    KL1000 to AMS – PH-BXO
    KL1027/1028 from AMS/to AMS – PH-BXZ

    11th January

    KL1002 to AMS – PH-BXO
    KL1027/1028 from AMS/to AMS – PH-BXS

    Only flight KL1027 and 1028 into Heathrow seems to be always operated by a 739.

    Sorry to hear that. Perhaps you are best leaving it until closer to the time. Our great New York deal was booked about 2 and a half weeks before travelling. You may not be able just to pack your bags and go, but perhaps to book time off of work and then a book a last minute deal would be best.
