    I agree, too.

I have to say though, that is a completely pathetic attempt by Boeing to create a jet for the future.

Why do manufacturers assume that everything in the future will be sized out of proportion and distorted though? The cockpit windows look stupid – like the aircraft I guess. It’s just another 757/767 with silly windows and winglets.

I think this whole ordeal just proves that British Airways are weak and cannot take a bit of competition.

If they cannot successfully operate such an expensive aircraft, Virgin being the only airline who have offered to purchase some aircraft, should be given the chance.

I’ve said it before – British Airways fear that Virgin will make a profit out of it, putting them to shame.

However, all places for Concorde aircraft (both AF and BA) have been announced and obviously it’s tough for each of the airlines to withdraw the offers they have made to the various museums.

    Go get em!!!

I heard that it was billions that they were after. Whatever the amount, it is likely to have a good impact on the company.

We were told our United tickets last year were E-Tickets. All we needed was our passports. At check-in, we handed them over and they were swiped. Very quick method of getting passengers checked in.

Thai have issued the relatively standard 5-page book containing loads of meaningless data which are exchanged at check-in for a boarding card.

Surely an A320-200 might as well just be an A321 and an A319-200 could just be the the A320-100 and the A319-300 could be the A321.

    :p 😡

At Heathrow, I would expect to see a 747 before a 767. They outnumber 767s completely.

That’s brilliant, you could pass that off as a “real” van.

    Oooh, let’s see…

    Like:

Air Tahiti Nui, JMC, Monarch (new), Britannia (old), British Airways, Thai (14 days to go, yippee!)… sure there are plenty more, but none springing to mind right now though.

Brilliant photos, Monster. I see a couple of 767s in there, too!

So what if Airliners.net reject them. Let’s face it, it’s just a website which whacks a banner on your work, with them virtually taking credit for it.

As long as your photos are loved by the people of the forum (which they are, I assure you), then it couldn’t get any better!

    🙂

    Wonderful shot!

Heathrow amongst other airports have a real problem with wildlife, flocks of birds were once on BBC Airport as a problem, getting sucked into engines and being all mished up. 🙁
