Yes, it’s a very useful website indeed. I have a good 4 or 5 reviews on there ranging from JMC to Monarch to United to British Airways.

Mind you, I would also recommend another website with thorough reviews and then a series of questions relating to flight prices, food quality etc. Always useful in case the reviewer forgets to mention something in the review itself.

Check out dooyoo.co.uk There are not just airline reviews, but shop reviews, car reviews, product reviews, hotels (abroad and home) and much more. Look out for percy_perkins, that’s me! 😀

    In response to Greekdude1,

“By the way Michael, Thai’s aircraft on example Monday morning when I landed was Thai’s royal barge. From my hotel room, I can see aircraft on approach into LHR and what did I see this morning (Wednesday), Thai’s royal barge. Twice in 3 days? Not bad. You might bet lucky on the outbound or inbound. How many dailies does TG have into LHR? Is it concievable that the same plane took off on Monday, flew the 11+ hour journey to BKK, sat around a few hours, then flew right back again?”

Hi, Thai Airways operate two flights into London Heathrow. Thai Airways flight TG910 arrives at 07:15hrs and flies every day of the week. TG916 flies on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and arrives at 18:35. Wow, perhaps they use their barge on the TG910 service (the one I’m returning on). You’re right, I might get it lucky!

I do agree that just the odd full top here and there could help us to understand his posts a little better, perhaps this could be beared in mind for the future.

However, LBARULES, you’re just making a little bit of a fool of yourself by starting up such a topic. People are obvious not reacting to your post in the light-hearted manner you may have anticipated.

This topic does not in any way relate to aviation so ignore it and let it go, there are better things to discuss.

Great photographs. If I can get a digital camera AND a window seat on my 747 flight, I’ll try and get some shots like this.

 But what are the chances of getting any of these things?

I wouldn’t dream of using slang in text messages either. By the time I would have thought up a suitable replacement for one word, I could have typed the whole text message..!!

That BEA Heron you have featured, there was one of those doing pleasure flights at Farnborough last year. However, the flights weren’t cheap, costing something like £50 for just 10 minutes in the air!!

Indeed, absolutely fantastic shots. Who would have thought that within just a few hours you could go from a cold looking snowy scene to a summery scene – no doubt it’s just as cold in Madrid!
