When you pay an extra £100 or £200 for extra legroom, you find yourself getting what real airlines offer in economy.

I would say no, that’s not enough time.

Charter airlines (some of them anyway) occasionally experience huge delays on flights inbound. Once such example was when we flew Airtours back from Jamaica last year and were 4 hours late. Obviously, if you’re 4 hours late, you’ll miss your flight.

But then again, if it is on time, you’ll be made to hang around the airport for quite a while.

Yup, some great photos. We’re borrowing a digital camera at the moment, a fairly decent Sony one, so I’m hoping to get up to Heathrow for an hour or two with it in the next few days!

Mine has to be September 2001 when we saw the JMC DC-10 G-LYON on the cover. I purchased this on 11th August at Gatwick Airport, just about to catch my flight to Puerto Plata. The flight was operated by a DC-10 of JMC, but not LYON, GKOT! We flew the pictured aircraft on the way home, 2 weeks later!

Yeah, it was UA906 and departed LHR at about 13:30hrs, service provided by N774UA, a Boeing 777-200 and inbound was a 767-300 N647UA which departed JFK at about 08:30hrs arriving at 20:30hrs local time in the UK.
