I don’t like it for the simple reason that the front end of the aircraft is too plain and there is too much text.
That’s superb value from Virgin, I understand they are a reliable train operator, operating a “fleet” of modern and former Intercity trains. The service on board is supposed to be good too.
But 2h 45mins on a train?! 10 minutes on my way to work is capable of killing me!
A nice, vibrant colour scheme but it is certainly lacking some extras (looks quite sparse as Saab said). I think a colour across the whole of the bottom of the fuselage would look nice.
Welcome along, good to have some more members on the Airliner World forum especially.
We’re all sane, bright, bubbly and constantly posting to make the forum a brighter place!
Good news for Iraq, great that everything is getting back to normal pretty quickly.
Sorry Hand, my French lessons never taught me that!
Ohh, great news, an entire fleet of 767-300s, I’m so pleased!
As for the colour scheme of Gulf Traveller, it’s nice. I didn’t like the Golden Gulf Air colours and felt that the gold was too much to bear, however, this is a wonderful transformation of the existing scheme.
I’m so p*ssed off with the latest news regarding my holiday and we have Kuoni ringing us in the morning to let us know our fate. Of course, we could still go on our hols, but a holiday is for relaxing, not having to suffer because of the noise and awful sights of construction work!
Will let you know as soon as possible!
Had never heard of Highland Airways until very recently and after seeing their website address plastered on rear of the fuselage, I couldn’t bear not to take a look.
A limited selection of flights are available with the airline and at incredibly high prices too with distances of no more than 60nm being charged at £120 return!
The Manchester “model” Airport sounds quite fun — would be interesting to take a closer look! 😎
I don’t think you need a passport as such, but some valid form of identification is required(??) Do quote me if I’m wrong, so a provisional driving license or full driving license should be accepted.
The Gatwick Express I’ve heard (although not really relevant to this conversation) is very very pricey for what it is. I would not even consider that as a last resort.
If our holiday is still going ahead(!!) we’re being taxiied to Heathrow and home again, it’s not often we go from the airport and paying in excess of £5 per day for parking for over 3 weeks is going to well over £100 whereas a taxi is only £30 each way! Bargain!
Not only a smart livery but a smart aircraft too… 😉
😮 Ah well, chances of them going bust are not likely, perhaps they shouldn’t have bought Go Fly.
I was at Larnaca Airport several years ago (1995) and was in the same situation, it was pitch black on both legs of the journey for which I flew Cyprus Airways.
