Just checked the train situation and turns out I am right with regards to where you get on, off and change!

Total journey time is 65 mintes from Feltham and you incur a 20 minute wait at Clapham Junction. Services are provided by Southwest Trains between Feltham and Clapham Junction and then South Central between there and the airport.

It will be a LOT cheaper than any other option, but it’s more a question of whether or not it is reliable. I use the the Reading – Waterloo service several times weekly (this is the line mentioned above, Feltham and Clapham) and very rarely do these trains run on time, even if it is only a 5 minute delay, it’s still late!

A good review Martin, certainly an eventful 33 minutes, what with the oxygen masks dropping and all that.. lol!

Not tried it before but the taxi method is not only convenient, but expensive.

There are plenty of buses at Heathrow, some linking the two airports. But you could get the train from Feltham, a bus ride from Heathrow and then get off at Clapham Junction where I understand you can get a train to London Gatwick.

I suggested this a couple of weeks back, but can’t remember if there was any response to it.

Undoubtedly the standard colour scheme of British Airways, but only on the 767-300 does it look good.. 🙂

Thanks for the information, so we can expect to see the Premiair aircraft in the “bright” MyTravel colour scheme – going to be similar to the Britannia Nordic, having an Eastern European counterpart.

Ahh, POP – the Dominican Republic, a lovely airport and country!

Even if a phone does not work at 33,000ft, surely it is giving off signals/receiving signals as it searches for an available network, therefore, endangering the aircraft and the lives of all on board?

Perhaps he intends to dramatically reduce the cost of a ticket if he has guaranteed that all flights would depart with a full load — not one empty seat?
