    Nice.

I am keen on Cebu Pacific colour schemes – extremely colourful!

It’s one VERY expensive industry! The A380 is a huge enough project as it is and there isn’t an airport which could currently handle the aircraft – yet more cash. Exciting news all the same.

    That’s not the same basis!

We’re talking £15 in the case of airline meals, whereas a Focus compared to a Mondeo is thousands of pounds.

A meal should not really be an option. If people don’t want it, they don’t want it. It’s better for the airline who makes more money regardless and it makes the flight “complete”.

    Is Thomas Cook still alive?

And… do you think John Mason Cook is annoyed that all his aircraft and his holiday company are to be named after his dad?

It’s dreadful stuff. Airlines are only really just sorting their problems following September 11th and have now been hit again. I know of people who fear flying because they think there will be another violent hi-jacking and crashing of an aircraft.

I think £15 is extortionate for what you would get on what is a relatively short flight.

Also, regardless of the airline, I think it should be compulsory that airlines feed passengers at no extra cost for flights over, say, 3 hours.

I like both the first and second possibilities, both great looks.

I wonder who will be the next big airline to surprise us with a livery change!

In which case, the aircraft has been de-registered or transferred to another country… or both?

Great photos, particularly the first which is very contrasty!

Thanks very much for all your help guys.

My parents were fascinated on Monday on their return journey, at the number of military aircraft parked up at Doha!

We’re going to ring Kuoni tomorrow and see what airlines are available to us. Another airline coming up is of course, Thai! Thailand’s own and it’s on a 747, something I’ve yet to experience!

But we’ll soon see – will let you know the outcome though 😀

    Thanks again!

This site is not as good as I first thought. It’s certainly a good idea to try and make your own aircraft, but it’s just impossible.

I tried to make a Boeing 737-400 of British Airways but had no luck. I downloaded the file to get my printer working, but as I’ve recently upgraded to XP, everything seems to need new drivers to work properly. So my webcam isn’t working at the moment, nor is my scanner – I tried putting it in there!

It’s very “finnicky” and the 737 itself is no longer than a pen. It is very hard to curl the fuselage and glue it together and Pritt Stick does not work at all. If you are going to make one, use something strong, or make on of the larger aircraft where it is not so tight when curved round.

But I’d give it a miss unless you’ve got plenty of time. I spent a good 90 minutes getting as far as I did and then packed it in. You wouldn’t think I’ve got exams in the coming weeks would you?!

    Very nice.

Yet another airline which cropped up when trying to plan our proposed adventure! An Eva Air 747, not sure if it was direct to Bangkok or not though.

That or the A330 eh Kabir? I know how much you love the Airbus A330!

Being similar sorts of sizes, I thought the 777 was far more spacious in the cabin with it’s seating configuration compared to the A330 which seemed small and uncomfortable. Possibly because it was a charter flight.

An interesting set of results. 55.3 in every thousand compared to what would be 0.5 in every thousand. It’s quite a difference! Good on Turkish Airlines.
