Wow… nice to see Bologna on there!
Nice little airport.
Great pic there!
Another low cost?!
Any idea of their routes or are you waiting for the website to answer that one?
Thanks for the info.
One of our favourite photographers here on the forum – Joe Pries.
A nice closeup of a fantastic 777!
Suprisingly, Qatar are not too expensive. Their flights via Doha to Bangkok are a considerable amount cheaper than direct flights with British Airways. BA want about £700 for a return flight whereas we’ve had quotes from Qatar for just under £400!
We’re sorting arrangements out now and Aeroflot is coming up VERY VERY cheap. Is it wise to choose Aeroflot? The flight goes from LHR to Moscow and then on to Bangkok.
I’ve just got to try and sort my printer which has malfunctioned(!!) and I’ll make one, posting a photo of the result right here!
Interesting website.
The 737-600 project looks great and some of the shots make it look like a real aircraft – http://www.edfmodel.com/model737.htm
Thanks for clearing that one up! Why don’t they laminate the seats and carpets then? :p Just another corny question.. no need to answer that one.
Also, someone mentioned “in the unlikely event of an emergency”. How do they know the chances of the aircraft being involved in an accident?
I’ve loaded my card into the printer and know what I’ll be doing tomorrow… lol!
Great website!
One question:
Why are safety cards waterproof?
I also forgot to mention, as I’m coming to the end of my A Levels, I finish education earlier than others, so my parents have recently decided that we will be going on our holidays slightly earlier. This will be 3 weeks (hopefully) from end June/start July.
If we do go, I’m afraid there is a chance I may not be joining you all. 😡
There’s been no mention and I’ve not booked my BMi ticket because I have a funny feeling it won’t be going ahead.
But hold on, I might be proved wrong!
I too saw the Monarch A321 at Gatwick, we taxiied past it. G-OZBE or something like that? :S
I always listen. Flying frequently, I feel I know most of what is being said already: “Place the lifejacket over your head, tie it in a double bow at the sides. The lifejacket inflates by pulling the red toggle. Do not inflate the lifejacket until you have left the aircraft” etc etc. Sad old me has it all in my head!
These things change though don’t they? There can be a great deal of difference between an aircraft with overwing exits and aircraft with 2 aisles for example.
But this crucial safety routine is performed for our own benefit, the least we can do is listen!
Nice photograph.
What I like is the way in which the background towards the rear of the aircraft is blurred because of the amount of heat being thrown out.
