I got a rather nice little Samsung T100. What I hate most are the ringtones, those dreadful polyphonic ones which sound like a kids toy phone – sounds really cheap!

The facilities and colour screen are great though.

    RE: Trip in London

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-01-03 AT 02:08 PM (GMT)]I live 40 minutes from Central London and have been there about 3 times in my 17 year life. I despise the place.

And I’m going there next Friday to visit Photo Galleries, great!

By all means take a trip on the British Airways London Eye – I think it was £11 or something like that for me to go on it for 30 minutes. I think that is incredibly expensive.

The shops are mostly expensive ones and aimed at the Upper Class (at least, that’s what I believe). Especially Harrods, what a joke!

I’ve yet to discover a side to London that I actually like and an area that is within my budget to visit – everything is just so overpriced.. more so than you average tourist City.

London is meant to be our capital city and I do not believe it represents British Culture – the rest of the country is nothing like it (fortunately).

Not more stowaways is it? There are better places to hide than in an engine!

    RE: The GE90-115B!

That’s huge and looks a little odd, but that’s probably because we are seeing it on a four engined aircraft along with two smaller engines. But if it’s going to improve the performance of an aircraft, it’s great!

    Nice picture too Matt.

Perhaps they were stowaways who just wanted to put an end to it all, so they may have done it deliberately rather than just fallen.

    RE: KLM and BUZZ.

What a waste! They have just started up a whole host of new destinations from Bournemouth. Surely the performance of Buzz isn’t having such a bad effect on the huge KLM!

Give it a chance people @ KLM!

RE: Pic of Dark Lord Saur-, oops, I mean Bush

    Very nice 🙁

Was it on this forum that somebody posted the photo of Mr. Bush looking through the binoculars the wrong way round? We have to see that one again – very funny!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-01-03 AT 08:44 PM (GMT)]Someone recently said about Air 2000 I think it was that cheated the system slightly. Transatlantic flights supposedly not being permitted from Glasgow and they made a stop somewhere first and then carried on. Technically, not departing Glasgow.

Could charters not do this too? Fly to Holguin and then onwards to Varadero. Then the flight becomes a domestic one.

    RE: Favorite Band

I’m only 17 and have some strange tastes in music. I am a great fan of 80s music and can listen to just about anything from this era.

    > Billy Joel
    > Cat Stevens
    > Crowded House
    > Counting Crows

etc.. etc.. !! Obviously not all of those above are 80s artists.

More recent music includes Oasis, Blur, Manic Street Preachers, David Gray, Coldplay, Tracy Chapman, Enya and the Electric Light Orchestra.

And what if the Pilot or Co-Pilot are in on it? They could use the gun and shoot the other person flying the plane and then do something crazy!
