RE: What car do you currently drive?

Had my tenth lesson yesterday and expecting to be on the roads in the New Year (hopefully). Meant to be getting a car in the coming days.

That’s exactly where it was – I’m going to find my CD-R which I’m having trouble locating at the moment and I’ll post the photo I have of it taking from a moving aircraft (Wysiwyg: it was taken from G-GOKT in August 2000, a JMC DC10).

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-10-02 AT 04:36 PM (GMT)]They have leased some A320s a few times before haven’t they? (Don’t quote me on that).

I like their fleet – they keep it simple and doesn’t mean that any pilot can any aircraft because aren’t the 757 and the 767 part of the same family? Like the A319/A320/A321?

By the way, don’t forget Excel, although very small, they only fly the 737 and the 767 from air Atlanta in the Summer.

Not entirely sure. Once I find the CD with the photo on it (which I will do later tonight) I’ll post the one I’m on about. I really couldn’t tell you much more, but give me a couple of hours and I’ll get this pic posted.

    Thanks DCFly, I’ll try that.

    A330,

I use a 35-200mm lens and in those shots I put a 2x converter on the end to make it up to a 400mm so the zoom was quite good but even without a zoom, you get some fantastic views/shots from the Esso Station ;).

Where abouts is it actually parked because when I flew out of Gatwick 2 years ago there was an old aircraft parked to the side of the shorter runway (I forget which one that is) and I’ve got a blurred picture of it somewhere. I took it as we took and caught this all white aircraft looking lonely, secluded from other aircraft.

(In which case, she may have done a Flight Only with JMC, Monarch etc?)

    RE: TOP TELLY!

Firstly, may I apologise for the fact that I have suddenyl gone off topic and posted a non aviation related response:

I have nothing against Eastenders, I watched it tonight as did I watch the double bill of Coronation Street.

Did you know Zoé had to go out of it for a bit as she couldn’t cope with the stressful storyline?

Now I’ll add something aviation related: I wonder which airline Lisa flew to Portugal with? She flew from Stansted, so I’m guessing she probably hopped on a JMC flight or something like that?

    RE: Just curious!!!

Nokia 3330 – had it since June 2001 which is when it first came out in the UK, but I’ll be trading it in for a new one no sooner than the New Year.

    RE: Great time at LHR.

These are the views I get from the Esso Station up at Heathrow. Apologies for the poor quality images, this is because I haven’t got a set of prints – these have been done digitally, straight from the negative and so, require a bit of work to make them perfect. They were taken in black and white and I like the effect!

I said in an earlier post about the fact that I am not able to photograph fast moving objects. Look at the car in the shot with the 747!

But more family feuds in Eastenders is just as boring.

    RE: Great time at LHR.

I have to go to spots where the aircraft move very slowly or where they are static. I use an OM-10 SLR camera and find taking shots of fast moving objects to be nearly impossible. But I think I’ve also been to the spot you are talking about.
