RE: Pic Of the Day- A330!

Silly question but is it landing or taking off?

To me, by the position in which the wheels are in, I would say landing. But what do I know about the landing gears of Airbus A330s?! 🙂

    That’s a great photo!

The display was great and they even done the Airbus showing twice which was good. Underneath the A340’s body you can see a bit of the A318 – a great new aircraft!

    AND…

Keep your eyes peeled for Marianne! She’s a little bit greedy and seems to spend her day on the site waiting for a go, once it’s up, she re-joins the queue for another!

I’ve done the same thing with Boston Logan.

Attached is a United Airlines 752, but as you said above, you actually control the camera at the airport. The only downside being that you have a limited space of time in which you can do something. 60 seconds if you’re not a member and 120 seconds if you are!

RE: Pic Of the Day- A330!

I am a great fan of the A330… that’s one nice pic!

I look out of my window now and see what you see in the photo (with the exception of the aircraft). It’s just chucked it down in rain and it looks like it’s going to rain again soon!

Those poor passengers are going to fed lettuce and tomato once airborne – as we saw from the airlinemeals.net post!

    RE: BA’s long haul 767’s

    Sorry…

It would seem it is a 2-3-2 configuration which means that they’re not cramming in too many seats and so it’s a pleasant flight.

I must admit, I thought the deal with being a “World Traveller” a.k.a. economy was that you got your personal TV screen?

    RE: BA’s long haul 767’s

767-300 is usually 2-4-2 configuration. Their website usually has seating plans for this their aircraft, I’ll dig one out for this aircraft and post it.

If the 767 can fly long haul though, why not use it? It’s a great aircraft and used by all the charters for routes to the Caribbean. I flew 10 hours on a 767 in April.

    RE: Asteroid approaching earth.

I’m so negative, but if it hits… it hits!

We shouldn’t let it get to us, but forget about it and appreciate the 21,000 days or so that we have left before this object hits us.

RE: Your fav place in the world?

I’ve been to a number of places in the world:

    Dominican Republic
    Panama
    Costa Rica
    Colombia
    Jamaica
    Florida
    Spain
    France
    Italy
    Crete
    Cyprus

My favourite place has to be Jamaica though. What could be better than a 7 night Caribbean Cruise followed by 5* luxury in all-inclusive Jamaica? The people were pleasant (some not so) and the hotel had spectacular views, clear sea water and fantastic temperatures while back home it was a mere 12C.

The only place I’ve not been keen on is Florida. That’s not to say it would stop me going again but it didn’t feel like a holiday. My idea of a holiday is somewhere scorching hot and relaxing. Instead, you’re either at a theme or a water park and it’s so much rushing about.

Cyprus too was great, as was Crete – the people were some of the friendliest I’ve ever come across and they were both incredibly well kept islands.

    COOL DUDE ALERT!

This guy is so cool in his easyJet T-Shirt and Swim shorts!

What would you do if you were somewhere hot soaking up the sun and when you look across the pool you see an idiot wearing what is simply easyJet uniform!

easyJet is an airline, then they became easyRent-a-car, then they became easyEverything (Internet Cafe), they’ll prbably have their own clothing brand soon!

The Qantas 747 story on the Beeb News site is interesting, but as for the Leonard’s Words page, it’s not displaying – can someone just confirm this for me and if this is the case can you please check the URL and re-post because it sounds quite a fun site.
