Now that is my favourite all time airliner. Forget the DC-10 and the 767-300, the BAE 146 is without a doubt the finest aircraft in the skies. I’ve just got to actually fly on one and back up my opinion!

I don’t think it’s ugly, it’s more a case of the designer not using his/her imagination when designing it.

However, the old scheme is far superior.

I’m off there tomorrow and am surprised the commercial stuff was on show after what was said on the forum recently.

Thanks for the information – it would seem we people have been left with the crappy selection.

If that is the case I will be seeking a refund because I was going to Farnoborugh to get a glimpse of the Virgin Atlantic A346 and the Airbus A318!

I questioned this the other day but nobody responded, not one person! 🙁 The Tristars are still operating flights into Heathrow, I’ve seen it go over me in the last week and I got a second glimpse of the BWIA A340 today and it really is fantastic.

It’s crazy all of it – I don’t think they could squeeze any more air traffic into the skies of Britain if they tried.

I don’t agree with any of it at all (sorry for sounding so negative) but how often do we hear of near misses? Only the other day over Brighton a Swiss aircraft was just 15 seconds away from colliding with A British Airways aircraft.

I thought Air Traffic in the skies of Britain was going to be dramatically reduced – how is adding more runways and terminals going to assist this?

I reckon Heathrow is being made larger because they want to remain the “busiest international airport in the world”. To the British Government it’s a competition adn they’re not really thinking how this will affect our skies.

I saw this beautiful aircraft yesterday on our local news as it flew extremely low over Farnborough. It was also quite funny because Richard Branson was at Farnoborugh for the official opening of the air show and was dancing to some music with this massive aircraft parked in the background!

Without a doubt it has to be the 767-300, it is just such a fine aircraft to look at and travel on. I do not like the -200 series nor the -400, but the -300 is absolutely brilliant!
