I’d have to disagree. Nothing beats the DC-10 or the 767-300! 🙂

You’d never catch me wandering about with my pecker dangling free, but I don’t think it’s wrong. It’s “natural”. Adam and Eve, supposedly the first two people on the planet done it, why can’t you?

I love the way a Trainee can immediately become a regular in the tower and not have anyone watching his actions. This could have been fatal causing several hundred deaths.

RE: If you don’t fit the seat, pay for two

I think it is only fair that economy seats get just a tiny bit bigger. Even the average sized person finds moving about difficult due to the limited space to the sides, in front and behind.

However, an airline does have to make money and if a rather large passenger cannot fit into one seat, they’re going to need another. The price you pay for an airline ticket is for one seat for the duration of the flight and if it’s going to be a full flight, tubby people should be made to pay twice the fare or a supplement (excess charge but not quite the price of a complete ticket). If it’s a relatively empty flight, allow these people to fly for the price of one seat.

Most people can do something about their weight and it may be them and their diets that have given them weights which are well and truly out of proportion to height – it’s not like tall people, they cannot control they way they grow, but fat people can do something about it and so should pay the price the airline requests.

This sounds incredibly negative, but it’s merely the way I feel.

I too can see a link between the 757 and A320 family. It’s certainly a very nice aircraft and I’m impressed because I’ve never been particularly keen on the work of Tupolev.

Dare I say it, but I gave up! I was waiting for something funny to happen, but it’s for real… I’ll take a look again now I know what is supposed to happen.

I still think Airline was better when it featured Britannia and think that easyJet has had long enough to (as Dazza said) advertise it’s services.

I think it would be good if it focused on Monarch or JMC, it would certainly attract more viewers because there is only so much you can take of the unprofessionalism you can take from these childish easyJet employees at Liverpool and Luton. And why don’t Airline film at Gatwick – easyJet operate from there?

It is indeed a brand new series – both Airline (ITV) and Airport (BBC) on each week… is it just me or is aviation related programmes on terrestrial getting better?!

I don’t think they should build another World Trade Center. I think people would fear working in the building, especially if there is something going on between the USA and other countries which may trigger more terrorist attacks.

There was a large chunk of one of the towers which was left stuck in the ground. Many said this should have stayed as it could have represented the center and helped remember all those innocent people who were lost on the day of September 11th, 2001.

It was a few years old, but most interesting.

There was a Delta L-1011 Tristar which crashed as it passed through one and the cause was recorded as “pilot error”. Delta’s training pilot simulated the flight and he crashed as well, the decision was not re-thought.

They also featured the Air Florida 732 crash which took off in snow. The pilot did not apply full power for take off and the plan took off and about 30 or 40 seconds later, it stalled and crashed into a freezing lake/river. Only 5 people were resuced.

Don’t forget more top telly tomorrow on BBC1, Airport starts again at 8 or 8:30pm – should be good!

Two hotels in Farnborough you may want to try. I think they are bed and breakfast but one of them does have a 3* rating by the AA and the RAC.
