it has some terminals, apron and a runway. Its just like an airport really.

Responses like this annoy the hell out of me. Seriously, what’s the point in posting something so useless?

Tommy, I’ve not used the airport myself but some of my family have. They agree with the hundreds of reviews online at websites such as SkyTrax, where travellers have complained about the exorbitant prices charged for food and drink especially.

Ah, so the new A320 is in service? I spent close to 7 hours at Heathrow today wondering if it might pay a visit, but it never did. A countless number of other A320s did pop in though.

    Really great, sharp shots! 🙂

I have been to Gibraltar, Madeira and Don Muang in Bangkok and can’t say that any of my experiences have been out of the ordinary. In Bangkok, however, it was always pretty strange flying in and seeing a handful of golfers staring up at you as the aircraft taxied off of the runway.

    The worst has to be:

    Malev: BUD-LHR in 2009.

Malev haven’t flown to Heathrow since late 2006.

Not gauranteed a 747 according to the BA website. Could only find 777 flights to JFK.

Nevermind… now all I find are 747s on the JFK flights.

The first (random) dates I stuck into the website for May brought up a handful of 747 flights every day.

Don’t they stop and think people sort out holidays at weekends.

What are you sorting out exactly? It sounds like you’re just an enthusiast, keen to find out what aircraft you are going to be flying on.

Why don’t you wait until the day of departure and just see what is sat at the gate when you arrive at the airport? It’ll be a nice surprise!
