RE: Free ATC Game!
The forum isn’t letting me upload a screenshot, but I’ve put one in my webspace so you can take a look, it doesn’t look too complexed, the various windows tell a different story.
I’m playing at the moment and have just earnt a free coupon for lunch in the airport for being such a great ATController!
RE: Airline flight codes
I feel a right indiot now! I’ll track down the site site which told me it was a Japanese Airline!!
It is indeed the Swedish Airline Transjet, their website can be found at http://www.transjet.se/ and is really quite poor because just about all of it is under construction!
Interesting…
How coincidental. Tomorrow, it will be a year to the day that 12th June 2001 a Transjet MD83 SE-RBI had to a have an emergency evacuation when smoke filled the cockpit area. The aircraft eventually took off 11 hours late minus some passengers who refused to re-board it.
Funny stuff!
RE: New Issue
They might be nice enough to email you a copy! 😉 (and me for that matter)
RE: Airline flight codes
How on earth did I deduce that?!
RE: car
LOL! great picture!
RE: Airline flight codes
Sorry, I’ll take that back, I’ve been doing some research…
I think they operate only 737-400s and fly to the following destinations and do not fly international routes: Tokyo Haneda, Osaka Itami, Fukushima, Komatsu, Okayama, Matsuyama, Kochi, Fukuoka, Naha, Ishigaki, Miyako, Kumejima, Yonaguni.
Possibly something to do with JAL judging by their logo, what’d you think?

RE: Airline flight codes
here we go…
Japan Transocean Air, Okinawa, Japan
couldnt tell you anything about them though!
RE: Just a thought…………………
Alternatively, just put the links in your signature so when you post, there is four or five important links which may be of use..?? 😉
RE: Pic Of The Day-2 beauties!
Really great pic, very scenic location with the hills/mountains in the background.
RE: AIRBUS or BOEING
I wouldn’t complain about any aircraft I would fly on. I have favourites made by Boeing and Airbus. I think that at this moment in time, it would be “fair” to say that Airbus are achieving slightly more in the world of commercial aviation with the A380 (which I and a few others don’t think is going to happen) and the A318.
I do really like the 767 (-300 in particular) by Boeing and the A320/A330 by Airbus. Not necessarily the interior but I think these aircraft really are fine pieces of aeronautical equipment!
RE: Going On Holiday?
Anyone know of any last minute deals from London to Jalalabad? 🙂
RE: Going On Holiday?
My parents are leaving it a bit late this year, but they’ve never let me down in the past, so there’s no reason why they should do so this year!
I think after our Caribbean/Central America cruise back in March, doing another one is out of the question. I found being surrounded by just sky and sea not in the least appealing and when I’m on holiday I tend to drink quite a bit which I very rarely do (if ever) when I’m at home. Alcohol and wobbly boats don’t quite go together!
RE: Here is a photo of the Queens fly by for the J
Superb!
You’ll probably find that you get someone taking advantage of these images, so if you’re planning on submitting them to Airliners.net or posting on other forums, it may be wise to put a feint watermark on them with your name or email address so the “real” photographer gets the credit and not the fake.
RE: Mobile Phones
SOFTLAD – Puerto Plata right? I flown to that airport twice – once with Monarch on an A330 and another with JMC on a DC-10!
Brilliant little place!
RE: Charter Airlines
I think it is crazy that we must pay extra for facilities which scheduled airlines offer anyway.
Long haul flights can be extremely uncomfortable with the lack of legroom available and limited entertainment and making us pay a supplement for a personal television and a couple of inches exra is extortionate.
There should be a law on the conditions permitted on airlines.
