    RE: Air Jamaica @ Manchester??

    Interesting stuff…

Does it fly Montego Bay to Kingston to Manchester or just between Kingston and Manchester?

    RE: MYT Flight from MAN

I think you mean flights to the UK? Travelling to Florida takes about 8.5 hours and they are 5 hours behind so you’ll arrive 3.5 hours atfer you leave.

Coming back, it is 5 hours ahead and the flight is 8 – 8.5 hours, so it takes 13 hours.

I done an Airtours transatlantic flight with Airtours and we flew there on the A330 and back on a 767-300.

I would say the flight would be on an A330 for at least one leg of the journey and they certainly are the finest charter aircraft we have with seatback TVs and a channel .

Hmmm… I’ve not heard anything about this. Surely they can’t withdraw such a fine aircraft from the fleet.

Airtours operate the A320, do they operate the A321?

I’ve agreed to do overtime at work – how crazy is that?! Sounds really interesting… where are the aircraft flying from?

Well, I’ve been doing some research…

The green jet is a Jetstar as someone suggested and I’ve attached a pic of that below.

As for the other, I think it’s just a fictitious aircraft. The Grumman Ag-Cat and the An-2 both look nothing like as they have typical bi-plane features – a set of wings upon a set of wings!

    Nice aircraft…

The one thing I don’t like about the current Air India livery is the red frames around each window. I understand if these weren’t here it would look “white”, but it looks a bit crammed on for my liking…

but it’s a nice pic anyway!

    RE: Airline Liveries

    Very interesting site…

I’m not too keen on Air India or Alitalia. I think because I’m used to the standard red and white livery with Air India at the moment, f that ever became their new scheme, it would take quite some getting used to.

The best have to be Aeroflot and United airlines, both look great. I think this chap should sell his ideas to the airlines or perhaps he already has but he has some great ideas all backed up with reasons as to why things are like they are…

Aeroflot – “The Russian flag is interpreted as a series of ribbons in the logo, while the colors on the fuselage present a clean and sober appearance, enlivened by a brilliant white base”

I voted on that the other day and it was leading. I think waiting for the final results will be about as exciting as the Eurovision Song Contest..!!

Is it the end of the world if we don’t win? We haven’t done so for 36 years, we know no different really!

What a waste of time, they’ve only been around for little over two years and they are changing already.

Thomas Cook and JMC are the same company, why doesn’t Thomas deal with bookings and JMC just provide the flights?!

Yeah, this topic looks vaguely familiar…

T5 = Terminal 5, the new terminal soon to be constructed at London’s Heathrow keeping it as the world’s busiest international airport.
