Quite surprised those little huts aren’t being blown away with the force from the engines…!

    Great pic by the way

Nice aircraft… it’s getting olf, but all aircraft will do it eventually. It doesn’t look too old compared to the 741 – that is extremely old looking now.

    RE: Airbus A319

Check the link – it’s an Airbus A319 of British Airways registration G-EUPV. I’ve flown on that very aircraft and sat in seat 17D on February 11th. It was a fantastic aircraft!

I done 37,000ft at tops on a 767. Concorde can cruise at a maximum altitude of 52,000ft… that must be amazing!

IF anyone can tell me what the original aircraft (easy-peasy) and airline (extremely difficult… in fact, impossible!) was, you are the brainiest person in this forum!

Stating just the aircraft makes you an extremely weak contender!

    RE: Cuisine ?

so we do have a half-decent national dish then… fish and chips is okay, but i don’t eat fish, so it’s not so good for me.

roast beef and yorkshire pudding is extremely british and such a boring dish.

    RE: Cuisine ?

Nothing quite as tasty as Good old British Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding… lol, not!

Nothing beats chips and curry sauce but with the French Fries being American/French and curry being Chinese/Indian(?) I couldnt say where it comes from!

    Well Kabir,

After that link you gave to me earlier (which I cannot put because I can’t remember), it’s got to be the Boeing Business Jet. I know I’ve said on plenty of occasions that I dislike the 737, but I’ve also said the huge winglets make it look brilliant. It certainly is a fantastic aircraft on the outside and words cannot describe the interior!

and to think it’s just 20 minutes away from me… great pic! Nice to see it with a very international feel, airlines from every cornoer of the globe.

I don’t find Paint Shop Pro very user friendly which is the main thing which should taken into consideration when the program is designed.

I prefer the program that I used to make this thing with. It does everything PSP does and couldn’t be easier to use.

The only thing PSP can brag about is the fact that it has over 16 million colours on it’s palette but that’s no good if the user has a 256 colour monitor or a black and white printer if you think about it!

Paint Shop Pro? I’ve only got version 4.x (can’t remember). I used PhotoStudio 2000 SE. Good program.

The image wasn’t meant to look real, but anyone that thinks it is must have some sort of screw loose anyway!

    RE: Queen mother’s funeral

I’m still in school but doing further education. I think my school should be ashamed of themselves for not letting us watch the funeral and not even holding a 2 minute silence.

I am even more anoyed at the fact that today was not made a public holiday (even if it was only for this year). The Queen Mum lived through everything. She was born 3 years before Orville and Wilbur Wright made their first ever flight. She never saw any of the things we take for granted today i.e. television, internet(!!) and other things.

I think the being at school, we are controlled too much and today, being such a day in history, we should have been given the opportunity to tune in and watch this lady put to rest.
