    CHEESE!

I don’t normally look like this, the picture was taken from above (for some strange reason) using my little friend “Webby the Webcam”.

RE: Stamps from all of you guys.

Airliner World (May 2002) said that Royal Mail are releasing some Commercial Aviation stamps on May 3rd or something… I’ll dig out the URL for the Royal Mail Info/Order page and post it as soon as possible.

    RE: McDonalds

Was it Crossair who had a McDonalds aircraft which served McDonalds food but could not serve fries as they were not allowed to install the facilities required to cook them?

I could imagine someone lying on the runway risking their life to take that, but it’s certainly proved worthwhile. You really can see the speed of the aircraft – absolutely brilliant!

Wouldn’t know the airline but it’s an Airbus. A319 seems a bit smaller than what is shown. Perhaps A320/A321?

BA are supposedly being made to scrap the World Tails. Anyone have any idea when they are going to start?

    RE: Seats

British Airways 734 and A319 were great. Their smaller aircraft all have leather seats which are not something you expect for short haul flights and especially not in economy!

    RE: A310

Got the May edition of Airliner World through this morning and it’s got loads about A300/A310… definitely worth a read!

    RE: Worst In-Flight Entertainment?

I found both Britannia’s audio and visual entertainment of good quality. We too, got to watch Trigger Happy TV etc.

Our audio entertainment with Airtours last month was rather boring. There were about 5 or 6 stations to listen to and the more modern music station had less than 10 tracks on it. They have these corny famous people doing the DJ-ing for it and this women said stay tuned for Kylie Minogue and some other singer and they never materialised, the loop just started again!

I s’pose watching Shrek is an improvement. It’s a fairly recent film and definitely more watchable than Yellow Submarine!

    RE: Boeing 757

The 757 as I said in Benair’s topic is great and very different from any other Boeing aircraft. This sounds a tad bit silly, but you wouldn’t expect the 757 and 767 for example to be made the same manufacturer because they are just so different.

I like the 757 in British Airways/JMC livery.

    RE: forum chat………

That’d be wise but as we’re such a mixed bunch (as in from different corners of the globe) it’s hard. Some places are several hours in front or behind other countries and so times may not be convenient but it would be good if we could overcome this slight problem.

Also, once you go once, you’re shown on all the time. If you’ve ever looked for how many seconds someone has been idle, it converts into several hours because although the user has probably disconnected from the net and gone and done something else, they’re still shown as being in the room.

Not if you haven’t been there! Great pic by the way. I think giving a passengers view is great, especially looking back of the wing.

Get some great views on approach into Barcelona.

Pic of the Crossair MD-83 can be found at http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=078011

I would however, recommend searching McDonalds on Airlines.net and you’ll get quite a few of the Crossair McDonalds aircraft.
