RE: GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM SPECIAL!!
I’m currently doing AS-Levels at Sixth Form. I’m studying ICT, Media and Photography and have a weekend job at the one and only TK Maxx where I am a Cash Office Administrator and a Customer Service Advisor.
Still undecided as to what to do next though.
RE: Good old workhorse
Also, one more thing. I didn’t back up my opinion. You never knew them to be awful. Why? You didn’t tell us.
Your immmaturity certainly shows referring to my rating and remark as a crybaby remark. Looking at it from a different angle, I could have put it as a negative rating, but I didn’t.
Practise what I preach? “I’d have to disagree with that also”, that’s MY OPINION. I did not use large segments of your postings and disect them, which is what you’re doing to me.
And as for trying to make me seem like the culprit in this minor mess-up, you can think again. I started this because I felt it was impossible to put my views across without someone picking me up for my actions.
RE: Airport picture of the day–Asia
Nice pic. Great to see that Ansett 747 in the foreground, something we’re not going to see again.
RE: Good old workhorse
That’s the point I’m trying to put across – everyone’s opinion deserves respect and not to be destroyed by other members of the forum.
What I don’t like about the way Serendib approaches the situation is by copying and pasting sections of the post and tearing it to pieces. Yours is not an opinion but a straight-forward disagreement. It’s not an opinion. Don’t reply to a post when I’ve said something is awful by saying, “Never knew them to be awful”. Simply say you’d have to disagree. You have opinions, I havepinions, we all have opinions and we are entitled to share them without being made to feel like idiots by other members.
RE: New Jumbo Variant
Amazing programme… what is it?
London Heathrow
This photo, as the watermark suggests is not mine. It belongs to [a href=”http://www.baapicturelibrary.co.uk/“]The BAA Picture Library[/a] and shows London Heathrow’s Terminal 4.
Heathrow is known as the Hub of Civil Aviation and is the world’s busiest international airport and second busiest cargo airport.

Thanks LGKR, good to see someone agrees with me! 😉
RE: Which is your favorite charter airline?
I love these Charter Airline topics. I would have to say that Airtours now comes top in my books. Britannia were indeed a great charter airline but as the person who started this topic said, the A330 (The Airtours ‘Flagship’) is a fine aircraft and the technology on board for economy passengers really is top notch. I agree that having downstairs toilets on the A330 is not the best idea, but the airline wouldn’t think like that. With the extra room, they can cram more passengers on and therefore, make more money. The toilets below the seats are larger than those on those above. They are not really accessible to disabled passengers but the Premium Cabin toilets would have top be used at the front of the aircraft. Even if they were above deck, a passenger requiring assistance could not really go to toilet because they would need help and the toilets can only just fit one person in, let alone two!
RE: Good old workhorse
Sorry, wasn’t aware of the F being freighter.
On another subject. I am sick of being picked up and seeing others be picked up for sharing their opinions. If I do not like Iluyshin/Tupolev, I will say so if it is relevant to that particular topic. When I post a message, that is my opinion. After all, what’s the point in having a forum if we are picked up for expressing opinions?!
Think about it…?!!
RE: GUESS WHAT!
I was going to say exactly the same thing. I wouldn’t have called it pathetic, but it is not aviation-related and so should not have been posted on this forum.
RE: Good old workhorse
Is that the only DC-10 they are operating? If so, it looks like a cargo plane to me. Although it does look much better than those awful Russian Iluyshin and Tupolev things.
RE: Pic Of he Day-03/04/2002!
Indeed, a great photograph. Those winglets looks so futuristic and give the 737 and great new look.
Hapag-Lloyd and Britania are now both part of the TUI group.
RE: Airport pic of the day- 01/04/02
It seems such a waste to send them to the ‘scrappy’. They could be used by smaller airlines of the world with smaller fleets. It’s not as if they are not working any more. They should be done up and used again. The Tristar is a fantastic aircraft.
RE: AIRLINER QUIZ
Sorry, third post on this topic in about 15 minutes! It is definitely a 732 of Ryanair. Registration is EI-CJC and a full size image can be found at http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=223890 or a wider selection can be found by searching ‘Hertz’ on Airliners.net.
RE: AIRLINER QUIZ
It would seem I was wrong… I didn’t read the reply to the original post and didn’t see someone suggested Atlas Air. It’s not Continental. The spider-web type globe begins at the top in your pic and half way down on Continental’s tails.
