    I think I should start a business – The Airtours Souvenir Shop – I’ll raid every seat back when disembarking the aircraft and probably get arrested when passing through Gatwick on 1st April!

    I’ll see if they will also give me some aircraft models for free because they can’t exactly sell them after 1st April as they are not gonna be Airtours much longer!

    I can’t see what all the fuss is about…

    …surely if there is something in the logo which is aviation related, it doesn’t suggest that the magazine has anything to do with women. Anyone that thinks it does should be shot for being so incredibly stupid 😛

    probably not my place to say, but you have already got 9 points and only made 16 posts. that’s really good going, but if one person doesn’t like the way in which you use the forum, he/she is entitled to make a negative point.

    remember, the purpose of a forum is to put across the ‘opinions’ which is what Sabena_A340 was obviously doing.

    If you go to http://www.lbia.co.uk/flight_info/holiday/index.shtml and select individual destinations, it will bring up all the tour operators e.g. Faro (Portugal) is one destination served by JMC from Leeds/Bradford.

    Britannia colour scheme

    Do you not think Britannia especially is an amazing new look? Anything has to be better than navy blue and white and sky blue and red is definitely far superior! MyTravel is a little disapointing to say the least.

    Their website http://www.jmc.com/ is useful but it doesn’t state anything about which airports fly to where. Obviously they are all likely to be European flights.

    The best charter airline ever… good old Britannia! Shame about the aircraft, but the airline certainly is top-notch.

    I’m booked onto an Airtours flight on March 17th to Montego Bay. It is kind of last minute I s’pose (3-4 weeks) and the travel agent tried to charge us for it! We managed to talk them into giving it to us for free which wasn’t bad – lucky me!

    The number of passengers will indeed, increase, but for this A380, everything has to change – new runways have to be contructed to cope with the aircraft as some will not be long enough for the aircraft. Also, what is the wingspan of this aircraft? Some airports may even need larger gates for the aircraft to park(??)

    There is already to much air traffic in the sky anyway, so introducing another huge aircraft into the London Skies is not really going to help – it may in other areas of the world!

    I’ve been with just about every British charter there is except for AMM. I have never found that a meal is going to have to be paid for! Airtours to Heraklion in 1997 was included and Monarch and JMC to Puerto Plata in 1999 and 2000 was also included. And the same with Britannia to La Romana last year!

    Stuff the shoddy meals, next time I fly I’ll take a Burger King with me! 😉
