And yes CL/AoA isn’t a linear relationship, but it is more or less for small AoA. In fact it is until you reach a certain wind relative speed where more AoA will not give you so much more lift (too much drag). Depending also of course of engine thrust etc.
No, it is not.. quotes from various deals are hardly representative.. directly comparable figures would be ones from Brazilian F-X2 deal.. 36 Super Hornets offered for $7.5bil, 36 Rafales for $8.2bil, 36 Gripen-Es for $5.4bil.. All this incl. a production line for 150 more fighters, incl. export rights.. it could still mean the line for Rafale costs more without the aircraft being actually more expensive.. we simply don’t know enough details but IMHO, an AESA Rafale and an AESA Super Hornet cost roughly equal money..

No clue of 180° anywhere anyway (just a quick look at from a camera with an angle not optimum, no reference point to say when a 180 is done, although i’d say he wanted to do a 180 and did it in around 14 secs) But anw this is useless eyeballs mk1 “analysis”.

Fact is if they are at same speed and direction, F-16 need less AoA on your photo (minus possible angle errors due to camera position).

the problem with your statement is Rafale being marginally more expensive than super hornet.
tons of people here put up quotes from various competitions of the Rafale being significantly more expensive than the super hornet.
Tons of people link press articles without knowing what is included in deals (tech transfer and offsets eg.). Fly away (for what it means) OFFICIAL Rafale price is well documented. One could also link price of Kuwaiti F-18 for fun.
Funny that the quoted items don’t say anything like “blinding”, but instead says “distracting”. The word “blind” is not even in the story.

AGREE, sorry i linked the article and title as it is. However distracting during a night landing on a ship can be an issue. That will certainly be fixed btw.

Absolutely. But a designation pod wasn’t scheduled for F1.
