“in service” can mean a lot of things. OC is a better standard. An “in service” GaN suite is flying this year…

It is highly probable that it is a fake competition, i agree, but in itself, having a country already commited to F-35 finally step back and open a competiton would be kind of a victory for other contenders no?

All the in mind with the best available avionic-suit and weaponary, the kinematics are nothing more than a nice to have option today or help to balance other shortcomings.

Or the reverse. Tbh we do not have any idea about that in 20 years
