Shut up? you don’t have to be incorrect, ty.
First GaN in service suite still has to be proven as the plane isn’t…
“in service” can mean a lot of things. OC is a better standard. An “in service” GaN suite is flying this year…
First in service GaN tech… Glad they dont dare to say first tested…
It does supercruise at about 1.3 mach with 4 AAMs (or is it 6) & a central fuel tank.
Nic
Mach 1.4 afaik , data from Fox Three (Dassault) magazine.
I checked Rafale beats everyone in fuel economy and empty/loaded ratio ?
http://www.aviatia.net/versus/rafale-vs-eurofighter/
Is it stealth or supercruise ?
Most data are wrong in thins comparison to be sincere. So…
Indeed Mr H. Gonna be a while before we see that puppy at Farnborough, methinks, despite the billions of HMG money riding on it.
Why not? A show this year would seem quite sensible no?
First F35B flight demo, Yuma airshow…
Enjoy its awesome agility!
Sadly, “price will come down” isn’t contractual…
Well i think thats why DAssault proposed contractual offset amounts. AND just to be able to reopen a competition from an originally F-35 dedicated country would be a first. And a message…
Still a slap at LM face…
Perhaps eventually the Red Arrows will be the uncontested best acrobatic team in Europe, after the dismission of the MB-339 by PAN.
Well, i know a former Red 2 that would aknowledge, but not on the “uncontested” part. He wouldn’ dismiss some others.
It is highly probable that it is a fake competition, i agree, but in itself, having a country already commited to F-35 finally step back and open a competiton would be kind of a victory for other contenders no?
I pointed to an american cousin, EEl.
And competition isnt open yet.
All the in mind with the best available avionic-suit and weaponary, the kinematics are nothing more than a nice to have option today or help to balance other shortcomings.
Or the reverse. Tbh we do not have any idea about that in 20 years
i clearly stated my point was vs SAAB PRs, not the plane in itself. MS 21 WAS the standard indicated in swiss eval. About dual seat, i think it is highly probable, beside range issues. About sea Gripen, well…
And incremental development is also the pathway for Ef and Rafale no?
I’d wish not to go in another endless debate about technical capabilities and won/lost copetitions on political/financial reasons… Let’s expect an open competition in Canada?
