Hallo, cut the silly posts…
The funny part is i’m reportedly quoting a RAF pilot. Not so silly post š
It is not only that. How can anyone promise offset on a program structured on regular call for tenders? The analyst (honorary professor at war college) says that there is only vague promises. However, ha can be wrong.
Some Belgium analysts already dubious about promised offsets from F-35 purchase…
…
In addition, created in October 2016, the BELAG (Belgian Aeronautical Group) was called upon to contract the commitments of candidate sellers and to avoid regional disputes. Unlike BAe Systems, however, Lockheed Martin completely ignored BELAG,

, 20:2 victories vs AMRAAM equipped Typhoon.
Well that’s what I was referring to. They are taking an unguided weapon and turning it into a guided one. With three weapons on each station, that would add a lot of capability to the Mirage 2000 in my opinion…at least it would appear to.
The original idea was 12 weapons on central station afaik.(at least the config shwon at Le Bourget). They are using cheap rockets sensors to guide BAP120 NG.
I think noone said that Rafale RCS was downed to zero. There will alays be a small delay between signal reception, DRFM, applying functions, reemitting. Front end pulse use from ennemy radar can partly mitigate that, but there will always be a degradation, and that is the idea (break the kill chain long enough so as to invalidate tactical situation).
Oh and BAT120 test was succesful (nrelated)
Any attentive reading should help to temper down some of the verbal arrogance here.
Wll you? God gracious.Gonna be a nice year!
Basic capabilities:
2 SPARC processors @ 33MHz
STANAG 3910 avionics standard (just like Typhoon)
Max bus bandwidth – 20Mbit/s

Hello. Albeit this document is about Rafale F1 (a stop gap Rafale so as to replace Crusaders) is interesting, it is outdated.

subsystems are virtualized…
2nd the lack of a coherent planing in system upgrade that led all sensor (apart from from the SPECTRA suite) to be removed/replaced.
Say like… EOTS, EODAS etc.? Hilarious. The little loop on the LM doc is hat it is a little loop on a ppt. And a fairly hilarious one btw. Sensor fusion may itself change the radar mode e.g.?
LM has NO idea on how sensor fusion is performed on Rafale. But what they show for “4th gen” is what happens for F-18.
Do not try eagle. For some religions, it is heretic to say that Rafale has a comprehensive data fusion engine is heretic. Same for active stealth, despite a conference where present NATO SACT (that is NATO military N°2) pronouncing thses words “balance between active and passive stealth” publicly.
quote DGA please. Data fusion is about algorithms that allow to use datat from several sensors to enhance each others. Nothing to do with emitting or whatever. Pointless. And how do you know that Rafale emits more in IR than F-35? I’ve seen them both during their demo in a crotale NG google. Won’t comment on F-135… And no, MICA is in no way using same interface as OSF.
Ah OK. No argument then. Datafusion is a powerful tool in order to circonvent poor funcioning of a sensor or another. And Rafale had datausion way before AESA…
So istill donot get what argument allows you to say that Rafale donot have a”full” data fusion.
Lost in tranlation. do you mean that one can’t fuse informations if it isn’t itself “stealthy”?
Fusion here is understood as the merge of raw data acquisition tracks from various sensors to generate unique target opportunities.
And?
