It is difficult to the navy to justify a stealthy UCAV with the F-35 incoming. Let’s say stealthy evolutive tanker?

Dassault as prime contractor for the plane, Airbus for weapon system integration in a system of systems (includin drone, tankers, awacs, or whatever). (Germany would also take the lead for next MBT). Thales probably not very happy.

The Truman is on its way to the Med, there was no carrier in the area at the time of the strike. Someone must have forgotten to tell a certain world leader before he lit up Twitter. Not often that there are no carriers in: Med, Red sea, or Gulf in recent years. Consequence of having 9 carriers available (1 in RCOH and 1 undergoing PSA and not going to deploy for 2+ years)

yes it largely can. the 1250 L tanks are made to go supersonic.

It is documented (Rafale over Afghanistan, Cpt Romain) that “non supersonic” tanks are cleared for mach 1.3

And mach 1.7 with three external tanks… (ok the small ones)
