I would also add that this contest will more then likely not be based up on the technical evaluation made over ten years ago so why people are still getting so hysterical over the matter is beyond me.

. Agree on ppl getting nigh, but on the other hand, swiss gov did precise that “already done tests” would be reused.

Where do the 0.7 number comes from? However, french and uk were able to show more credible demonstrators than sweden.

Gripen was not a political choice. It was the preferred choice by the Swiss Military given the economical frame and stated needs.

    Kidding?

My understanding is that the AI injection that Rafale will receive is based (at least in part) on the ‘Guidance in Uncertain Shooting Domains’ programme that Probayes and MBDA conducted under the Materials and Components for Missiles Innovation and Technology Partnership (MCM ITP).

Yep. Also from Neuron/FCAS self determination of optimal route/positioning to engage target, swarm smart bombs guidance (smart glider) etc.

And present C295-MPA would be a huge capability step back as compared two modernized ATL2.

Where did you read that ? Falcon prod will be down 25% next year (and with equal RoI), Rafale prod was 9. So are you additioning all the production lines do find that slight previsional ramp-up?

You know what? I did not read it, i just listened and questioned Dassault CEO. ANything else?

    your understanding is really hilarious.

so i’ll debunk your clickbait title. Google trad.

The audit points out the responsibility of several members of the military hierarchy who are accused of “a serious error of judgment, at the limit of manipulation”.

*in substance, the minister is innocent, some high ranked militaries (most of them placed here by a former minister that expected to become NATO sec gen) made a heavy fault, although it would be going too far to call it a plot.

Considering the troll answer rate, i must be an expert. This report isn’t shocking at all. It simply debunks the near impunity previously described…. I wouldn’t be shocked if F-35 did win sometimes also. F-15 is a good air superiority fighter and F-35 is not invincible (its main role isn’t air superiority after all). What tend make me troll is sentences as see sometimes such as “phenix of all non TVC” or it is “at least as good in high AoA as F-18 and F-16 STR (in fact it should be only in the same realm) etc.

not so much. Most new trainee converting to 35 have gone through accelerated cursus and are now said to often overmatch experienced F-15 pilots in combined exercise

Not reall yif you read between lines. F15 pilot said they beat F-35 “sometimes” means a lot and is no surprise.

Halloweene, personally I think it’s better to have both sides working together (if only to make the damn thing more secure).

The project seems to allow plenty of national freedom, so ideally they will approve it with changes that get the demonstrators flying in 3 years time ,

So do I, but who are we?

    POLITICS :
It is the “Rafale clan” who brought the report to the press.

    Probably.

A collaborator of Vandeput (belgium mindef) sacked for undue contacts with LM. Many things happened today in Belgium. A study from LM appears to have been hidden from Vandeput by establishment. This study said F-16 could last 6 more years (for around one billion i think).
