Did Anything Bring A Smile To Your Face Today?

The other thread has been quiet for quite a while so I thought I’d try again as the last few days in GD have been a bit depressing!;)

Jim clear it up easy, Brillo pad her anus. You could make a final present of a nice shiny ring for her!

Or stick some senokot in her tea, she’s giving you a load of sh*te, perhaps one should return the favour :p

Seriously ignore that, you shouldn’t do anything like that as they may have a bad reaction and erm, I would think it is illegal..

Good idea Paul, but guess who would have to clear it up?, I’m in it deep enough as it is, without having to clear hers up also.

Haha! But I meant is it a favourite haunt? I spent a lot of time there many years ago and liked it very much. Worked a bit up around St Paul’s Bay but mainly in Marsascala.Bet it will have changed a lot in 40 years though!!

It’s a thought for the future Charlie. A bit far from a certain V-bomber for my liking though…

Back on topic.
Spent an excellent day marshaling, at Cadwell Park, for the HOTTRAX motorcycle race meeting.
Lots of energetic flag waving, but fortunately, little in the way of nasty accidents.
Going back for the second day, tomorrow.

😀 Well it’s a good something to tell the grand children one day

I wish we (my Girl and myself) could have the opportunity to do so…

The other downside of touring is there’s a high chance your gear can be damaged… No wonder Steve (fellow Guitarist) uses a Digi-System these days. Lol.

🙂 Just think about commuting into a city office everyday faced with paperwork and tedium – – sounds good to me compared to that 🙂

I’ll still have to do that to keep the Job Centre and HMRC off my back when I’ve finished these next few more gigs, there’s a bit of a gap until the next ones. 🙂 My day-to-day job is a Guitar Technician, and the odd sales here and there that comes with it.

What sort of music do you play ?

At the minute for the Artist I’m playing for, Heavy/Industrial Rock, or the sound that is. Generally, Metal, Rock, Classic Rock, Classical, Blues, Jazz etc. Usually I spend more time just messing about. 🙂

Why thank you! But it’s not as glamorous as it looks, oh no-no-no! Turn up to venue, set your gear up, rehearse, play the actual gig for 1hr 30+ minutes, take it all down, load up, get on the tour bus, sleep (very important), travel, get up, eat (healthily is an important option as I soon found out)… Turn up to venue, repeat several, several, several, several more times. That’s a very modest summary of things…

… However, there those moments of… ‘shenanigans of misbehaviour’, lets say. 😀

It’s been an important part of our life though.

My Girlfriend and myself getting back home after a pretty hectic tour in the US and Canada, lots of fun, met a lot of people, learned a lot but very busy. Just nice to be back home in Geordie Land for a re-charge for a week or so, then we’re off to New Zealand and Australia to do the same stuff again.
