They sure have done a good job restoring all that corrosion damage to the fuselage

Air or sea ? Personally, I think a shipping container would be easier on the nerves.

You cannot put a P-38 in a container,even dismantled it is too big.

Deck cargo only.

If it comes it will be by air.

As far as i know there are only 3 current horseman.

As for which Mustang they send from the USA,they have a choice of at least 5 different ones.

Elevator was off when i saw it two weeks ago and the annual was just about to start.

A well built and maintained spitfire IMHO.

One of the best P-51D’s around, also to boot a combat vet of the 78th and operated from it’s former home, what more could we ask. We sure are lucky in the UK with combat vet 51’s.
