We’ll see who’s position will become more untenable. The wait will be for years I believe.

We Should export our Short range Ballistic Missiles to Greece. 350 Kms 🙂 can be fired from Sea as well.

That possibility is as good to my possibility of becoming a billionare next year 😉

Read what He said again. He said we have TN weapons and it should be plural.

He was asked if its more than 45kt, he did not want to reveal the exact yield so he said we have the possibility to make up to 200.

Do you want national secrets like the yield of our TN weapons etc in mass media. Jeez.

Many countries have gone Nuclear with joint tests, the design of a working device should work here as it would there. I am not saying Russia is giving us TN weapon tech under the table, but it is not as impossible as you suggest. During WW1 there was tons of secret military alliances which only came to light after the war brokeout. 😉

Had he been confident he would have stated we have the deterrence rather than possibility of it.

No he is confident. Do not do selective reading Austin. He clearly stated ‘use plural we have TN Bombs’. Now as teer said the worst case scenario is we not knowing if it is working or not. But it at least blows Santhanam’s one argument that we have not weaponized the H bomb tested is completely false.

Even if our TN device failed (I DO NOT BELIEVE IT DID, BUT LET US SUPPOSE SO) there is a good chance of us getting the tech under the table from our good Russian friends. In that case testing would only leave to sanctions where the weapon you have is clearly tested. (I KNOW THIS IS A LONGSHOT, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!)

According to the above Graphic the F 22’s cruise speed is 1.5 Mach without ab. We know in reality its 1.7.

The .95 Cruise speed without AB of the F 35 is only the initial estimate. There is every chance that it will be over mach 1.0 in reality.

But it’d have cost him his pension, his post retirement peace of mind & the GOI witchhunt would have not spared him. Thats the sad part.

I think from within his limits he have done a commendable job in that interview. And we do have TN weapons atleast that bit is clear.

SNECMA M53 P2 – dry thrust rating of 62,3 kN, afterburner thrust 95 kN

My mistake the source i looked at did not have the Ab thrust just the dry one 🙁

Atleast I can sleep Happily clearly knowing that we have TN Bombs of yield up to 200KT. Atleast they have weaponized it, I think you have to agree on that atleast Teer. The claim that there have been no weaponization is blown out of the water.

‘Use plural, India has thermonuclear bombs’

That settles it, what more do you want ? Using it on some one to prove that it exists.

I just doubt the ability of Snecma to develop 90KN engines. They have not yet done so. I doubt that Snecma-GTRE will do it in time.

All the money spent on that conference would be enough to to move many villages under threat from rising sea levels out of danger. In fact, the landing fees at Kastrup for all those aircraft would feed those villagers for a couple of months.

My Point Exactly. Help people migrate further inland, get more areas under cultivation, invest on ingenious concepts like floating cities or sky scrapper cities, or even under water cities.

All this money we are going to invest in climate change will go into the pockets of the climate opportunists and by the time we realize the thing cannot be prevented there will not be enough time left to save lives.

Who are you to make up definitions here?

Supercruise, as stated by various military personnel, is SUPERSONIC CRUISING.

You are right. That may well be supercruising in the true sense of the world.

Its like some folks would consider going at 100 mph really fast, some would only consider 200 mph fast.

Lockheed/USAF considers Mach 1.5+ as Super Cruise (see the post by obligatory from code one for example) newer F 16s can also do supersonic flight without Afterburner (this was also acknowledged by a usaf pilot when asked about F 16 to India) that however is not considered ‘Super Cruise’ by Lockheed/USAF. The
F 35 may well supercruise like your Gripen or Rafale but it is unlikely to be anywhere near the raptor, hence the lack of advertisement on that feature.

The other reason is that Lockheed was really trying to sell more raptors to the USAF and the last thing they would need is to use the term Super Cruise associated with the F 35.

I can just see IAF scrapping the MCA and ordering F 35 in the future. Especially if F 16 is selected for the MRCA.

After a month or so of inaction I see the bomb-scare merchants are back again. Recycled news.
