Am sorry if you took it wrong. It looks poorly built compared to western planes and Su 35S or even an MKI. It may have no impact on its function, but in form it looks less than impressive up close.

Not sure about that, for the cost of 1 B-1R you could get several F 35Cs, they can take off from carriers, can be more stealthy and in effect don’t have the problems of the B1-R.

An enemy having a long range missile like R-33/Phoenix could easily target the B1R following behind the raptors, not the case with F 35s.

The FGFA should have full stealth nozzles. I think IAF will make that clear, otherwise its just a painted PAK FA.

I doubt India will all of a sudden be making parts for non-Indian Typhoons. But as the typhoon is bound to be in service for quite a while, HAL may end up making replacement/spare parts for Typhoons around the world, 10-15 years from now.

It could also support (potential) Typhoons sold closer to home, like in the case of Su 30MKMs.

Given how desperate they have been to export the plane, and the utter lack of exports, I suspect something else.

If you look at the results of technical/performance evaluation it does not seem to be the case. Whether the plane is better or inferior to the Typhoon is for their fans to argue, but its certainly not too far away from the capabilities of any modern fourth generation fighter. And the planes they are losing the deal include Block 50 F 16s amongst others, clearly shows Dassault being pathetic at negotiations.

Case in point is MRCA deal, which Dassault may still win (because at this point only L1 matters) but see this.

1. EF representative – Offsets are not a problem we are looking forward to it.

2. Dassault representative – Its an issue, but we first want to be chosen then we will negotiate.

it is inferior in every way to J-20 performance wise

& How would you know that, we hardly know anything about J 20.
