Comments Welcome……
How about. Great shots Mark, thanks for posting!!! I was at Duxford and REALLY enjoyed the display from the Sea Fury. Thanks the these photos.
Peter
It was just a shame we didnt get to have the ray hanna memorial bit, would have been ace to see the brightling;s again but, dare it say it, maybe at legends
I fully agree. It’s also a shame that looking out of my window now, 10 miles from Duxford, it is a nice sunny evening!!!! Im hope that they incorporate the Ray Hannah memorial flight into Leg-Ends
The display was ended early, due to poor weather. The experience was worth it for me just to see the Eurofighter display! AWESOME!!!!!! I very much enjoyed seeing the Hawker Sea Fury fly also, what an amasing machine.
Absolutely Gorgeous. It’s sad that it isn’t intended to fly, i have a 1/4 scale Spowith Pup that needs some competition!!!
I love the DR1, here’s the one that i’ve been working on for the last 2 years….

The Essence of Old Warden
Old warden is a truly wonderful place. Old Warden could easily be considered to be the definition of aviation, and this includes model aviation too. Some of my best times have been at Old Warden model aviating and so i choose these as two pictures that sum up the essence of Old Warden.

Was at DX today, to witness Mr Goldspink getting his checkride in TFC’s Corsair and a few spitfire pilots having a play too. The Cassutt Racer pair looked great, with the young Mr Grace working hard on his formation stuff.
It’ll be a great show, weather’s forecast to be kind… can’t wait!
Maybe see you in Cambs on Saturday night GDH A few of us will be in the Pickerel from 7 onwards, if i see you i’ll buy you a Birthday pint! Lookout for the ‘Moose’ jacket
Jaguar, Definitley, Sheer power, sher brute force, sexy legs!!!!
Happy B-Day for Yesterday Andy… It’s mine today, small world isn’t it! Must be that laid back Libran approach!
Very impressive model.
Got any more piccies from Turweston today? I’d love to see them!
I don’t care what anyone else says…. I can’t get enough of these Legends photo’s… and I was at Duxford for three complete days over the weekend!
Thanks for posting them Dan.
[QUOTE=Hi-Octain…the actual program will not be confirmed untill after briefing ON THE DAY[/QUOTE]
Actually at most shows the program isn’t confirmed until the day after the show! 😀
Skyraider is OK. It arrived at Duxford at about 5pm
I left at 6pm and following the formaiton practice practically everything else flew! It was still going on when i dragged myself away. The Connie is not coming, but the SAAB B17 display was awesome. What an aerobatic machine! Can’t wait for tomorrow.
Anyone know what will be served up at the beer tent this weekend, if it’s Greene King please take your own as they are about to take over and close our local Ridleys brewery at Felsted.
Fantastic…… my favourite subject……. Beer!!!
Actually Ridleys asked Greene King to take them over to prevent them going down the swanney. If it hadn’t been for Greene King there would be no “Old Bob” at Christmas. It’s a shame that the Chelmsford Factory has to close though, the end of an eira.
They sometimes have the “Bombardier Bus” at Duxford. it’ll be worth a few pints of the Charles Wells brew!
