The french reg was covering up a british reg (G-EZES I think it was). I don’t know if this aircraft is in service with EZY or not yet but I’m sure one of you guys can tell me.
Well, there had to be a reason why this Fly-Drive holiday was so cheap!!
Thanks for your kind words lads. Sandy, I think the SAA B744 was by far the highlight of the show for me, although I did enjoy seeing the A318 and the A346 in the skies for myself. SAA spoiled us though – truly spectacular! 😎
I loved the first SAA photo and the underwing EZY A319 shots – two of my better photos. I’m getting there slowly! 😮
How about this one 😉
What about it??!!?? – Nah, only joking – it’s bloody lovely mate. 😀
Nice pics Joe. Well done. 🙂
Very nice pics. I love that Cargolux with the red of the sun on it. Classy! 🙂
CLUCKING BELL!! That is low!!
Ah-hem, Monarch Scheduled (a LCC  ) fly to Tenerife from Luton (4x weekly) and Manchester (7x weekly). Luton has been on the go for about 15 years 😮 and Manchester started last winter 😉 .
Tell all of your friends! 😉 🙂 😀
Fantastic report! Glad you enjoyed us. 😉
The SAAB 340 (G-GNTB) belonged to the very same Business Air where my career in aviation began all those 11 years ago. Good to see the old II livery again. Great airline.
Thanks for sharing such amazing photos and dredging up the memories. I bet half of the members on here haven’t seen half of those aircraft in those liveries. Any more? Anyone?
Wilag
A friend of mine got married 4 years ago in July and he went to the Caribbean for his honeymoon, flying with Virgin (pardon the pun!) – as he was on his honeymoon and a note had been made in his booking by the tour operator, Virgin OFFERED them an upgrade to Upper Class without them having to ask. Also, about 6 years ago a friend at work won Virgin tickets to Florida in the Gill Airways Christmas raffle and her and her husband were upgraded on one of their sectors to Upper Class just be cause they were prizewinners. The moral of the story – fly Virgin!
I’d certainly ask at check in if there is any chance of an upgrade for you honeymooners. July and August are more holiday season and therefore business travel dips slightly, possibly freeing up some business class (or first class) seats for you.
Shy bairns get nae sweets! 🙂
Woo-hoo! Looks like a great airport for spotting. I’m off there in 6 weeks time 🙂 for a week to comiserate turning 30 years old 🙁
I’ve heard nothing but good things about SFO and, boy, am I looking forward to getting there. Your comments make me want to go now!!
I make guarantees that my photos will not be anything like as good as yours 😮
The poor lad and his family. Such a tragic shame to hear of so much ambition being taken away like that. It truly brought a tear to my eye reading this.
Rest in peace.
Woohoo!! I love it in the Monarch colours. A decent replacement for an aging A300 fleet???
What a pane this is !
You may as well all stop trying now. I think we have the winner!!! 😀 😀 😀
Funny stuff Allen!!! 😀 😀 😀
