Upon looking at it further, is it supposed to be a face inside another face. The inside one facing the opposite way. :confused: ????

And do you know what else? Lufthansa’s livery is just pure keech (sh!t). It’s terrible when the most exciting thing on your aircraft livery is the flag next to the registration!!! :rolleyes:

Iberia have used the A340-600 on Madrid-Tenerife

I flew MAD/TFN (Madrid/Tenerife North) on a B747 3 years ago with IB. Fabulous it was too! Was a bit nervous flying into TFN on a B747!!

My gut feeling is that they won’t last more than 6 months from MSE unless the fares are similar to that of Ryanair from STN – not to compete with Ryanair, it’s just that I think they will need to do that to tempt people to travel so far just to get to the airport (from London anyway).

I do still wish easyJet would open up more routes from LTN. I’ve more or less fallen out with Ryanair after their last stunt and much prefer to fly easyJet given the choice. And now that I’ve moved further away from Stansted, it puts Ryanair further down the wishlist anyway. I had my fun with FR and travelled to most of the destinations that they offer from STN that I wanted to go to.

So, come on easyJet – make me travel, you bitch!!!! 😉 Howz about LTN/PRG (why does no-one do this?), LTN/NCL (PLEASE!!!), LTN/LIS (goldmine), LTN/ROM, LTN/DUB (only joking! 😀 or maybe not, hmmmm?), LTN/CPH, LTN/VIE

I believe the SAAB is doing the ABZ/NWI run these days. Are bmi still on the route too? If so, strange that Eastern would use a turboprop if bmi are still using the jet.

I don’t think they over-dramatised it but I do think that 0857 on Tuesday and 1113 on Wednesday is not within 24 hours! I make that just over 26 hours! 😀 🙂 😉

In my opinion….

Everyone is entitled to an opinion on any matter.
Everyone should be able to express their opinions here, but it is unfair to try to force your opinion on to others.
Everyone should accept that other people’s opinion’s CAN and WILL be different from their own – otherwise this wouldn’t be a very interesting forum.

EWR (Newark) and LEI (Almeria) – the letters appear in order – is it simply that combinations commencing Nxx and Axx were all taken? Any ideas? Also, does anyone know why the likes of Spanair use ambiguous three letter codes (JKK, previously the more logical SPP)?

Spanair’s scheduled designator is JK – I’ve no idea why they changed from SPP but I can only assume that JK and JKK appealed more to them?

Perhaps I ought to reply to your post Dean in the the thread about airport codes ? Dundee=DND = ‘Drunk N Disorderly’, very apt don’t you think ? (lol) 😉
