Some very important news regarding dependence on Motor Sich.
-Director of the research-production division of Saturn, Ilya Federvov states:
“We are creating small sized engines for tactical missiles of air, sea, etc launch. The problem was delicate, so we did not talk much of it, untill now. Most critically- Russia is not dependant on the Ukranian Motor-Sich anymore.
-Goskaz for creation of these engines has been met. Engines are being delivered to “Raduga” and the “Tactical Missile Corporation”.
-Klimov recently began construction of a factory for new engine production for Kamovs and Mils; it is supposed to open in 2 years. Currently Russian Helicopters buys a portion of the engines for its helicopters from Motor Sich, and this will alleviate this shortage.
