Mi-26 low fly by O.O
They really need to get rid of the VVS Russia thing.

Even on the few remaining MiG-25s, why god why.

Sweet Su-34 vid, lots of footage from Union Shield 2011. I warn you though, watch it with no sound.
Target for interceptions, regrettably I have almost no info on it.

Different tail stings on the new birds?

The most similar looking angle.

Topol-E launch. I believe this is a target for interception tests.

pr. 949 oscars to be rearmed with oniks and kaliber.
Wow, madness.
I thought it was already supposed to be launched?
Or am I making things up.
I am pretty sure it swivels up to protect the optics when not in use.
For example:

Sequence of photos, pretty sure the optics are swiveled up.
What I meant was the turret is fully articulated, not just within a certain arc to the front. Never seen a pic of it 180 degrees around, makes for great target tracking ability. Mi-28 can’t do that, Apache can’t do that, Cobra can’t do that, Mi-24, well let’s not even go there. 😮
Good point Trident.
It could be one transparency with a stiffener brace underneath, but that would beg the question of why even bother, vision would be impeded just the same.
More like excellent response to a cocked up landing! :D:D

This is cool, the optics turret on the Ka-52 can turn all the way around, obvious advantage over front arc only systems.
Ah, thanks for the info. IT was reported they were MiG-29SMTs, but clearly this is a much more limited upgrade. Better than nothing still.
Another nice pic of the Mi-35M:
