TBH I find it very likely RuNavy will go for Zhuk-M(2) as well. If RuAF goes for MiG-35, maybe there is a chance for AE. Big IF however. Engines are basically identical yeah.

Flying AFV.
I suspect sometime this decade we will see Russian and Indian MiG-29Ks training together, from their respective carriers. Would be a crime NOT do do that.
Would be nice if they got Zhuk-AE though :/.
Those comparisons are speculative nonsense, and should be treated as such. Same layout lol? Untill now the main argument for how much better the J-20 is than the PAK-FA is its similar to F-22 engine and belly layout lol.
Nice pic Blitzo.
very interesting configuration of twin drop tanks on a single pylon- are these twin-drop tanks supersonic?
I don’t believe that is one pylon, take a look at the other photo.

Scroll down, some cool photos of new Ka-52 flying very low.
Now inadequate I certainly agree is a stupid term, but it is somewhat true that compared to say Al-31 development, RD-33 growth has been more modest, for the obvious reasons.
Thanks. The Russian system looks a little more crude than the Western one. Seems like the Chinese made the right choice.
Is that your expert Mk1 eyeball analysis 😮 ?

Some sweet footage. Ignore the funky music and commentary. Around 26 mins in, Su-15 swarm, recommend watvching the whole thing though.
Think this will interest Indian posters.

MiG building. First MiG-29K of the new batch is under construction, along with UPG airframes.
EDIT: A few of the airframes on the floor (not sure if you can see them in the pics) are for Myanmar. There are also unfinished airframes of ancient Soviet origin, supposedly planned for completion for an unknown customer, a contract with whom has not yet been finalized. Interesting, who is getting “new” MiG-29s?
That AESA jammer must be expensive no? Is it included in the original contract? Makes the M-2000 deal look even more absurd. Looking foreword to UPG vs MKI encounters.
Oh and, what weapons are MiG-29UPG units supposed to receive? Integration is one thing, deployed weapons another.
Apparently a big part of the Il-476 modernization is all “digital” interior so to speak, not just cockpit.

A pic of T-50-1 after modifications.
kh-38 I think.
