The idea of a Sukhoi plant abroad is good. I.e. in Ukraine, in order to cement the -Russian brotherhood. A busy plant there give money to qualified Ukrainian people and everyone will be interested in keep the company book flooded (shared interests). May be Ukraine will be interested in repairing/modernizing their Sukhois and to buy a few Su-35s. Off-course I am talking from a geopolitical point of view. No a strictly aeronautic one.
Why do that? Brotherhood is meaningless, Ukraine proved that by rabbid Russophobia in the past administration. What happens if an anti-Russian is elected next term? Jobs and income should be kept within Russia- no handouts to Ukraine. At the end of the day Russian leaders need to serve the Russian people, not maintain some fantasy of solidarity with Ukraine.
