MC-21 has that many orders?!?!

Nearly forgot about Libya’s F1s, they must be quite old, 1970s vintage? Has France resumed providing support and spare parts for them?

A few were overhauled/patched up recently IIRC.

Ooops, let me be clear, that cockpit is from the Ka-52. Su-24M2 has a number of new displays in the cockpit, the Gefest&T has the old ones replaced by new ones…

This shows (however briefly) the two displays mounted on top of each other. I think that is Su-24M2.

The Su-24M2 was the Sukhoi affiliated upgrade, part of the upgrades were done at NAPO (They did the Algerian M2s for example), as I understand a total of around 40 was modernized. NAPO isn’t doing any more upgrades for the RuAF, not sure if the upgrade is underway somewhere else. Likely they decided to go to Su-34 instead of updating too many. The Gefest&T upgrade was sadly limited to only ~5 aircraft, all at Lipetsk, Suhkoi supposedly sunk that competing program.

EDIT: According to a guy who works at NAPO, their the Su-24M2s they produced have 4 MFDs, 2 for pilot, 2 for shturman.

They ordered quite a few new helicopters, their attack helo fleet is going to be bigger than India’s in a year or two!

As I understand even the 90s BM program (not the current one) produced figures of over 300km (detection? tracking? Don’t remember) for a fighter sized target.

Kingfish (KSR-5 I guess) is essentially scaled down Kh-22 for Tu-16. Kh-32 has no NATO designation as far as I am aware, but in size is identical to Kh-22. Tu-22M had no need for KSR-5 (not in the inventory anymore I would imagine) as it could use the more capable Kh-22.
