I had hopes on MiG-35, but my personal preference aside on this MMRCA debacle, the only one with a niche is the single engine, smaller Gripen. The others just complicate the IAF while providing too much capability overlap. Either cancel the whole damn thing, or go Gripen.

EDIT: I don’t see the Gripen being chosen though :/.

UR-100 service life to be increased to 36 years. Currently the service life is certified to 33 years. R-36 service life was earlier extended to 2026.

Element number is not the only thing that counts guys. They didn’t have much of a nose to work with.
