This is a question for Dr Strangelove, he recently dealt with portable HD issues and I believe Argos was the solution…..

    Usual reporting accuracy

    …….also their readers

Yank B17 crews used to take pics of one of these flying though their formations, pilot waving cheekily. How do we know this: this test-pilot visited Biggin Hill about 1960-61, the curator of the museum took pics of her – yes, HER – a small blond lady, laying on the VI they had in the museum, telling them about the Reichenburg. VI prototypes used a concord-type wing, changed to the far-cheaper straight one by the bean-counters, this caused the stability-problems Hanna Reich had to sort-out. The VI was going through the sound barrier, you see. Problem solved by slowing the engine! Which allowed the Spits and Meteors to catch it. They even build a double-engined one, but the alternately firing engines caused it to wag it’s tail, both at once rattled eyeballs so you couldn’t see, and you were deaf for a week after. But she said it – and she – were the first to crack the sound-barrier. The curator used to enthral visitors with this story. Find the pics, DM, that’ll be fun!

    eh?

    We were soldiers

A brilliant ‘no crap’ Vietnam war story based around Hal Moore.

    a rare 10/10 from me.

I agree, it looks like a fibreglass replacement, perhaps the real ones are being restored elsewhere. I doubt they would have been cut.

    Batman – Dark knight rises

Dark, depressing, miserable and absolute cr@p.
Actually cheered when Batman was blown up by the nuke at the end, that’s how much I cared for this sulky 2D character. Imagine the dispair when the knob appears in a cafe in Rome as the end credits roll………

I’d rather watch Apollo 18 again and by god, that was abysmal.

    2/10
