I am surprised the AAIB have not raised the issue of the undershoot to the grass runway at Duxford.

Perhaps they haven’t read the KPAAAIB thread yet.

Throw her (rich or not rich) out of University now never mind any court judgement. Not worthy of any degree from any University least of all from Exeter.

I thought our justice system worked on ‘Innocent until proven guilty’. I guess the university will not act until the outcome (quite right).

I bought one of these incenderies from a local auction in Cornwall (!)

The bloke who lived in my gaff, 30 years ago, found a mills 36 grenade in the garden, (in the countryside) complete with very rusty safety pin. Being conscientsious, he took it down the local nick and placed it on the desk. Half the town was then evacuated for several hours whilst bomb disposal dealt with it.

Only a couple of problems I can see; you can’t make a Rolls-Royce Merlin (or a Peregrine) like this, and if you could, it would not be certified to fly (in the UK anyway).

I genuinely don’t know, but why would this process not be certifiable?

Perhaps we can turn this to our advantage, we could introduce some these activities into olympic events.

We may even get the odd gold medal too.

    I’ll start the ball rolling:

    1. Running 100m whilst carrying a 42″ plasma screen TV.
