I have doubts as to whether sufficient demand exists for all these new services to Valencia and Almeria. These destinations arent as well known to the Brits as Malaga and Alicante.

IB and GB Airways both serve Valencia as well. I know many Brits have property in Spain but still all these new flights amounts to a huge increase of capacity on the route!

Id rather read a newspaper or look out the windown for half an hour than bolster Ryanairs profits paying out to watch half hour of a repeated sitcom, we will have no doubt seen a thousand times before.

I know none of the destinations I pointed out are in Spain. My travel geography is quite good having a A level Geography, Certificate of Travel Agency Competence I and II , HND in Tourism Management, Oxford Certificate in Tourism and a GNVQ Advanced in Leisure and Tourism, so shut up!

The destinations I listed are key destinations for IB which are quite unique and very special markets for Spain for historical/cultural reasons.

Yes it sounds like it hails from their PR machine. I cant see airports like Oporto and Seville lowering their charges as mush as some other destinations, as both airports do a good trade with their respective national carriers. I bet Iberia and TAP are livid with their home airports!
