Word of mouth can be pretty powerful, my grandmother who like many pensioners pops over to Spain all the time, especially in winter will now no longer use ZB because like me, she used to love the Monarch breakfasts and the red wine you got with your dinner!
Also, she being a bit of a snob, used to like the feeling that she was going with a quality airline but knowing she had a competitive price!
Im no konw-all, in fact, I know very little about the technical side of avaition. Hope to learn heaps, however, if I do disagree, as in the case of Monarch charging passengers for meals I will say so!
Who makes you the judge and jury? My comments were as valid as yours or anyone elses. You wiped it, I suspect, because I said things which reflected negatively on your company and you didnt want others to read them.
I dare say you are miffed that you cannot delete MYpost regarding Monarchs declining in-flight standards!
Can I be your friend? I could do with one, as I dont seem to be too popular on here, however I am not here to win popularity polls but to debate and not just to post company memos as a certain other member seems to at every opportunity!
Well I am angry that he saw fit to play censor, it seems he uses this board as a means of advertising ‘his’ airline and odes not like any views to be expressed which might taint ‘his’ airline!
Nor do I, drove down standards as well as costs and cheapen the experience!
I agree, Dusseldwarf the Censor. I guess Timmy Jeans wouldnt have liked it.
What a succinct reply. I agree with most of that InterflugIl62. Nice to feel that at least one of the members of this forum hates no-frills as much as I do. I like my FOOD!
Are you working in Monarchs PR?
Ah the Tristar, another beautiful plane. The A310 is a worthy replacement for Air Transat and Im sure much more fuel-efficient!
I may sometimes cause offence but I do not suffer fools gladly. I have strong opinions and I express them. I liked the company ethos of both Dan Air and Air Europe they strived to offer good standards and low fares! They were always professional yet never ‘stuck up’ or afraid to laugh at themselves!
Sadly missed!
Your a meglomaniac, why prevent people from reading all the exchange of views posted up till pres? Are you and Jeans shacked up together?
There is no doubting the 757s ability to get into small airports with short runways. That is the main reason it has enjoyed such popularity with the IT carriers.
Its very pleasing on the eye. In a high density charter layout it can accommodate 280 passengers, very useful at this time of year. I believe TCX use it on Palma runs in Summer and TFS in Winter, amongst others.
Excalibur was a good airline, as was Britannia before the TUI fiasco.
