Tom baby. I am a down to earth Yorkshire lad who is far from a snob! I just enjoy my airplane food and like carriers to give me a feed, be they charter or scheduled. I am hardly against charter carriers as all my posts about them testify. I love holiday airlines, I am named after one, you know.

I am flying FR next month, so Im hardly a snob am I?

I just think BD need to clarify their service levels. I dont know what to expect from them anymore. I used to feel safe in the knowledge that whether it was MME-LHR, EMA-AMS or LHR-PMI I would be offered a free snack/meal and drinks now Im not sure. I hear you get pannini on some domestic flights as short as 50 mins but then I travel on one of the higher priced routes and longer flight duration like LBA-JER and get a shortcake biscuit and no sarnie!

LBA Rules, I went to Malaga for a few days. Flew with MYT not Lite! I had to pay for a meal on-board and wasnt impressed.

I did enjoy the flight, however and the cabin staff were very down to earth and friendly on both sectors. I felt quite guilty for being nasty to MYT in the past as the staff had a wonderful earthy yet professional quality and I worried that many of them would face an uncertain future.

On the outbound leg there was this steward who was very attractive and such a gent, sharing a laugh and joke with all the passengers and talking to the kids. Very welcome change to find cabin staff who arent a bit snooty and full of themselves.

Well done Mytravel and lots of luck and love!

I most certainly did get one! I must admit I was suprised and delighted on such a short flight!

No wonder a large chunk of BD passengers have switched to their lower fare WW (Rival?) BMI arent offering much better in the way of service so why pay more to fly with them?

I flew last month BA LGW-MAN and got a hot brekkie! Very impressed. If BD want to compete with BA and reckon on they are a full service airline they should be looking to provide more than a rich tea biscuit! I will take BA for domestic as you still get free grub!

Im really confused about BMI! I cant never work out whether they are full service or no service or somewhere in between. I have flown LBA-JER a number of times and have only ever got a cup of tea and a free biscuit. |The flight is just over an hour. Yet others say BD serves a meal of short domestic flights?

The flights with BMI arent that cheap on the LBA-JER route so why no meal?

However they are till preferable to WW as you get on the ERJ145 and it feels a bit more exclusive than going EMA-JER on a tired old 737.

Yes, Im still in the holiday mood though. Dont worry, the post-holiday blues will soon set in and I will be back to my moaning self, haha.

Im very pleased with all my loot from that shop. I am very sad and was squealing with excitement at all the goodies in that shop!
