    Nice screenshots…makes mine look terrible!

Especially like the Spitfire 14 at Duxford and the B-17 and its little friend.

    Best wishes,

    Martin

(thinks might have to try harder next time! :))

I don’t know, they look fine to me! 🙂

Bradburger, where did you get the Spit 14?
I would really enjoy flying that one as it is based overhere at Antwerp during winters.

It’s a repaint for the Real Air Spit XIV and is called sptrn201.zip and is up at both Flightsim.com & Avsim I think.

The rest are repaints for the JF Spit pack.

Ed, read your reply on SimOuthouse also. 😉

    Cheers

Whilst she is looking like she needs a new coat of paint and it would be nice to see her represent a different B17, I seem to recall that back in 1984 or 85 when she was painted OD with the yellow tail, it cost something like £8K for a repaint which I think this was sponsored by the airline SAS IIRC.

I wonder just how much it would cost to paint her today?

    £30-40K perhaps?

Maybe they could start a fund raising scheme but if they are having trouble finding funds to keep her flying due to increased costs over the last few years, I guess a repaint is fairly low on the agenda. 🙁

But maybe if someone like Richard Branson stepped in with his cheque book, or a film company , it might be possible. 😉

However, as long as they keep her away from Dambusters 2 ‘Judgement Day’ and it’s not painted like a Virgin airliner, I’ll be quite happy!

    Cheers

    Some nice shots all!

Makes me a tad jealous, as I can’t fly at the moment due to my CH Pro Throttle going Tango Uniform last week! 😡

Eddie, I take it that’s your latest creation?

    How’s it coming along btw?

    Here’s a few from my archive – All Spits I’m afraid! 😉

A jet of some sort (Hunter perhaps) going into Dunsfold low & fast several weeks (a Wednesday I think) ago but I only heard it!

Briefly heard one of the BBMF Spits talking to Farnborough on the airband yesterday. It was doing a flypast down the road at Liss.

    That’s about it!

    Thanks for the HU Will.

I told myself to go and set it to record on the SKY+ but forgot! 😡 😮

However, all is not lost, as I see it’s on again tonight at 11PM. 🙂

And for those who’ve missed it, here’s the dates and times when it’s repeated:

    Bandwidth exceeded 😮

    Sorry about that Stringbag.

Meant to say that would probably happen at sometime! 😮

    Anyway, appears o.k now.

I’ll upload it to YouTube or one of those sites later.

I’m glad you all enjoyed it.

    Lovely pics Jonathon.

Captures so well what was probably one of the best OW displays for a long time! 🙂

Nice pics and reports all. 🙂

The Ray Hanna tribute must have been quite something.

    Fluffy,

Send a BIG thank you to all those that worked hard on the Lanc to get it serviceable again so soon and send one also to the Lanc crew for a cracking display at Old Warden. 😀
