Has been going out at 12.00 and at 22.00 on a Dover departure(not always an A 380 on the 22.00) –on a clear day we can see it at the back of the house in the distance sometimes closer-that normally happens when its cloudy!!
Glad that you went to see it –good old Dad!!:D
AAAAHH but–I watched it go in along with a load of others ,Jet airways,VS, LH etc :)and watched it depart at 22.00 from the garden!
Very fortunate to have seen it is is a great aircraft and so quiet for it’s size!
come on Gonzo, keep sending it on a DVR PLEASE on cloudless days–is lovely to see it from the back of the house,as south as poss would be good–RIGHT OVERHEAD WOULD BE WICKED:)

This is really sad!
Another airline that hardly anyone complains about, bites the dust.
Shall really miss seeing that one at LGW!
A friend of ours works for the Handling Agent that handled them,he said they were a really friendly Airline to deal with, and the crews etc were lovely-said they are sorry to lose that one(he said the Aircraft were good too!)
My other half saw one come over his head on the M23-he rang me to see if i saw it-wasnt watching at the time and wasnt quick enough to catch it on the tower freq!!
