I did hear you last night but only for a couple of mins whilst you went round the hold–you sneaked in over Timba and I was listening to 135.32 which they did not bandbox as it was so busy!
I thought something was amiss and put the scanner on 126.82 pdq!Heard you go out but it was someone a lot older talking -listened to you talking to the french as well!Will listen today both ways and put both freqs in scanner!

Thanks Wys-I will try and listen definately will listen to your outbound Palma tonight .Are they taking offon 26L towards Seaford do you know ?No chance of seeing you go over today which is a bummer even if they are UNLESS WEATHER CHANGES!

Is Funchal a dicey airport to land at?Is it any worse than Gib?Often hear people comment and know Id get a sensible answer from you!Frightened the life out of both of us when we turned and went in over the sea into Gib a few years back -looked like the wingtips were touching the sea!LCA last year was similar but not as scary-Had to be good it was JMC.

Had a lovely quiet day today,only 18 parcels (out at 1000 back in now!)Crap day for earning but never mind I dont like getting soaked!
Greek islands outbound– are they a Seaford dep or on the Dover freq?Its the Sun one Im querying as not sure.In the eves most freqs are bandboxed onto 135.32 so not a prob!I will hear you!!
Ps Have you got cats?What are their names?Ours are Tigger,Shelley,Lovejoy,Garfield,Charley,(hence my user name)Thomas&Henry all fast asleep what a nice life!

Best flightdeck PA was a few months ago by GB Airways to London ATC by mistake!Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen we are now commenced our descent over the French coast on our way into London Gatwick where the weather is a cool 6degrees!He obviously realised his mistake and all went quiet–ATC contoller That was lovely GB*** NOW GO AND TELL IT TO YOUR PASSENGERS!

Thanks chaps for this one –my other half came in from work yesterday and I showed him the little helicopter–it was added to the favouites list immediately and he got 640 in about 2 goes!
He will try and try now to better his score –the only thing he said was will it wear out the mouse?I said you will buy the next one if it does!!!!

Jamaica– lovely friendly people super weather if you go Dec to April just have to be a bit careful only to go on organized trips and not wander off complex at night!
Maldives looked super on TCTV yesterday afternoon –very very tempting also Mexico looks rather good!My other halfs choice is New Zealand and Canadabut these need 3 weeks to see them properly.

Thanks for replying to my query.I was woken up by a heavy plane going overhead about 20 mins prior to yours(it was either MON or BY )descending very low so sneaked out to have a look and made a cup of tea!Other half doesnt hear planes like I do!! we obviously get the BARLU/MAYFIELDS overhead at night and when on 08R we get the ones going to MID like you did. Sometimes we dont hear any but when the windows are open we do!The one I miss most is the BA2074 that used to go overhead into LGW at 0440 –it was the first plane I ever tracked and it was lovely to see the 747 when it went to Lagos on a Seaford dep!Sadly it went to LHR and I dont see it now –My best friend is CC for BA and shes off toLagos today!I will try and dive back in to hear her go!Where are you off to next?Ill try and listen!
PS what a lovely bike and a super colour -my boss Andy is a biker and is learning to fly(when he gets time off from running the taxi firm I work for on a Sunday!)The office is smothered by bike piccies on the walls!!
Must go parcels have arrived and I must go

More delays at LGW for MYT tonight
1205 Reus est 2200
1745 LARNACA —delayed-no time given
0450 Las Palmas tomorrow Est 0910
Palma ft in the night nothing beside it!

All at LGW!
Bad TCX delay today 1205 from Cancun est 0815 tomorrow12/8!
That possibly because an A330 went tec at ManchesterMaybe weather probs,dont know –Wys is the one to answer that!!

At LGW —MYT from Dalaman 17 HRS LATE9(s/b0130 this morn will arrive 1845 tonite,)another from Palma 7 hrs late and another also badly delayed!!
What is the matter with that firm?

Seaford departures when using 26L and planes heading towards Bames/Deauville-wish more would go out this side(saw VS 623 go overhead last Sat –magic)
At night BARLUdirect MAYFIELD arrivals into LGW go right overheadalso when a lot of holding Willow hold can be seen behind the house

The holiday was spotted on Thomas Cook tv on Sky we paid 391each( all inc 4 star hotel in Larnaca )instead of 990 each and a week before we flew we had a letter changingthe horrid night flight to 0700 departureand 1700 retn which was great.The extra leg room seatsthat we booked a few days before were well worththe money also!Will definately go with them again!
Wysiwyg —-are you a pilot for TCX?Do love the new livery,but miss the nice green 757 engines as they climb out overhead on a Seaford departure from LGW!!
