Fab..really enjoyed that post:)
Think it was a medical emergency.
Lovely Josh-thanks for posting them!
Im sure it wont be too long-i love to watch the EK777s depart and arrive every day but it is such a busy route they will either have to increase frequency here or use the big beast!!;)
Thanks Josh
One day maybe!
Fab!
THANK YOU:-)
Mystery solved–maybe its got 4 digits shown on the live radar as it is going to move to LGW!!!
Hoping some more large a/c will come here soon-about time EK brought their big bus here:-)
FANTASTIC-pictures–really enjoyed them!
poss due to weather at LGW Sun am–wind was gusting up to 33 kts some of the morning-a/c may have been holding for quite a while–norwegian a shuttle ft diverted as well.
Quite a few flights delayed their take offs as the wind strength exceeded their cos limits!
Tower ATCO did a great job:)
Have bought a Realistic Pro 2006 off e bay(a nearly new one!)which is a base station-looking forward to using it!
Thanks for all your help guys!
Thanks will look at that as well!:)
Have a Dipole aerial in the loft–we left the last one at our old house when we moved here-it isbrand new, all ready to use-other half has set it all up-wont put it on roof in case we move again!!
Thanks am watching a couple of the Realistic base stations on e bay–dont want anything too flash or too difficult:confused:
Thanks for all your help!!
Cheers Andy-will do!
I am looking around now(other half is going to get The Yupiteru mended and use it himself!) Maycom 108 was rubbish last night -i gave up listening- didnt even pick up the LGW GROUND PROPERLY(and we are 2-3 miles from LGW right next to the flightpath!!!!)
back to searching for scanners!
Lynda x
Thanks Andy!
The Signal Corp 532 I should never have got rid of! Do the Uniden scanners you mentioned have the signal strength as good as the Signal do you think!”
Lynda(Charley B)
They seem to go tech rather a lot at LGW a couple of months ago, and a couple of times have had the fire services out as well when they have come back in!!
They are a nice aircraft to watch though on the approach–dont lets lose them yet-there are too few larger a/c here now at LGW!!!
