Anything doing flyingwise on Sunday at Duxford seeing as Shuttleworth is sold out?
That’s a ******, we’ve booked a Travelodge too. Never known them sell out before. As hampden98 says any other suggestions as for what’s on?
Well good luck with it Alloy, I’d love to see one flying.
I didn’t contact him, just that I saw his reply to someone regarding it on Ebay
from above ^
I see it’s not listed now and the seller got a bit arsey when it was pointed out that it wasn’t Battle of Britain
It’ll be good to see airborne, it’s a wonder TomW hasn’t posted about it. Where are you Tom?:)
Yep, they were ran at the same time, any of them that would run were, infact they even dragged the Pembroke round that we used for taxying and marshalling training and ran that too for him 🙂
I remember going there ages ago when they used to run the stuff up which was great to see, there was even a rotary engine on a stand that was run. Pity things weren’t like that now.
OK so I think he’s got the message, let’s not forget he is and has been a valued contributor to this forum over the years.
Hope so, shame it happened in the first place.
Thanks for the link Mark12, she looks good.
Fabulous. Any pictures yet?
Fairly fox, and other Fairey biplanes, particularly the Phantome, but I like Rpsmith’s list as well.
But they sell much better when you mention “Spitfire”
Pretty sure none of these were ever fitted to a Spitfire!

Thank you mackerel and Mike J for your replies
So is this Hurricane that was in New Zealand with the Alpine Fighter Collection and where is normally based now?
Looks like a Spitfire:)
