[QUOTE=F-18 Hamburger]Pics my sexy Peruvian friend!
😮 thanks for the “sexy” thing 😮 😮
i’ve spent the whole morning trying to find a pic of the chilean f-5 armed with the derby but…no luck, there seems to be a lot of contradiction about  yes, not yet, a few etc etc etc, one thing for sure “they are trying hard”.
maybe one of our chilean friends has some pic or something 🙂
Camaro
the Chilean air force is in the process of integrating the Derby to their F-5, they’ve installed already the ELTA M-2032 among other things
Camaro.
Actually, it’s only 1 Yakhont-M on the centreline hardpoint. The options for Flankers include up to 3.
now that starts to make more sense, 1 on the centerline pylon, 🙂
and still leaves space for a few self defense gismos…
thanks guys.
Camaro.
you’re right WD1
one engine fire does not bring any multi-engined airplane to the ground, its the “panic screw-ups” that does, such as shuting down the wrong engine for example, it happened before and will probably hapen again.
to me it stinks mayor wrong doing, “airplanes dont fall out of the skies” they are crashed by pilots or bad maintenance 😮 , its history proven. 😮

4 U flex
you’re right flex, its a beauty
i’m posting this one, sorry its not the best quality.
Camaro
yes bad news, good for the pilot alive 🙂
now i think malasyan fulcrums are Mig-29SD? or something?
also for the pilot to eject it has to be a major failure, say both engines flaming out (for X-reason) or major flight control malfunction, i cant see any other reason
Camaro.
bobo…
i fail to understand…what’s your point?
all stuff being said is known, payloads, flight parameters etc, are you comparing them with fighters? ’cause that would be wrong.
or against each other? in that case the Su-25/39 has my vote anytime.
please can you clarify? 🙂
Camaro.
Camaro, su-25 pilots never fly at 900 km/h; there is no need to fly fast and it’s too dangerous.
no argument with that, at tree-top level i’d even say “way too dangerous” 😉
just remember, neither A-10 pilots do.
Camaro.
bobo
if the speed is a limit for a Su-25…
let me tell you about the A-10
its airspeed indicator is “a calendar” and when it takes birdstrikes, it sure does but “from behind” 😀
the A-10 speed is NOWHERE NEAR that of the Su-25 🙂
Camaro.
Exactly! How is it possible to criticise an air show that has beautiful girls walking towards a beautiful plane???
Man, if they (the girls) are the enemy pilots…I SURRENDER 😎
please, take me as your prissioner!!! 😀
Camaro
it may be a good move if you just think about saving money, but…
the us protects its industry and “their jobs” so…
why should europe not do the same???
the idea of an A-330 tanker is wonderful and keeps euros in europe, that should matter to somebody who cares for its people…i believe.
Camaro.
my dear flex…
i wish we had them in Peru, Fencers are sooo cool 😎
you’re right, its:
one of the most beautiful birds ever to take off to the skies 🙂
i totally agree.
too bad a have no pics.
Camaro.
dont know about you guys, but i’ve heard a lot of diferent machines in my life, combat aircraft flying low level high speed is just awesome (F-15, 16, 18, mirages, tomcats, tornados etc etc etc…
but the Su-22 (Tumansky powered) man! that has a mean SOB 😮 sound, i just love it. 🙂
Camaro
yes brother, i’ve seen it and i wish the same, 😉
BTW, are you or A-29 going to open e thread dedicated to Cuzex-04?
i sure hope so, it’s gotta be hot 😎 .
Camaro.
i think the salitre exercise is over, now, does somebody has the results?
we’re all itching to know 😀
